Humming noise?
We don’t guess. We measure.
Customer came in with a hum. Those can come from a wheel bearing, tire, axle, or the differential — and they all sound similar from the driver’s seat.
So we used magnetic vibration sensors that turn vibration into a voltage signal and put it on the scope:
🔴 Red = right front
🟢 Green = left front
🔵 Blue = differential
The right front is noisy. Left front is quiet. Differential is basically flat. That hum isn’t coming from the differential — it’s out at the right front.
That’s how we pinpoint a noise before we start replacing parts.
