If any of you have been in our office you have likely encountered Bob. He's only been with us for 6 years, but to us he's family. He was the guy I ordered from at Keystone years before he took up residence 5 feet from my desk. When I ordered parts, I always spoke to the same person, so when they screwed up I knew who to blame. And Bob was that guy. He's still in my phone as Bob Keystone, even though I'm fairly confident I know how to spell his last name. All these years have passed and shockingly I'm not sick of him (yet). Bob & I have been through so much together. We've laughed, we've cried, we've FIERCELY debated politics. He's been like a father figure to me (though sometimes he's that creepy uncle) and I can't think of anything I wouldn't do for him.

He is like the rock of our shop. He has his hands in everything. Bob deals with some of the most challenging suppliers and rarely complains. When he does I just tell him to shut up and get back to work. Before Bob went through chemo we tried having him train someone to take his place during his leave. That guy lasted 4 hours, so to say Bob is irreplaceable is an understatement.

Bob- I bust your b@lls all the time. I shout out random thoughts in the shop and expect you to know what the hell I'm talking about. I embarrass you when I yell profanities in the background while you're trying to deal with a warranty claims. Sometimes I'm a straight up crazy person around here and you just take it in stride. Thank you for putting up with me & for everything you do around here. You always show up for us & we will always show up for you.
One last thing- you better not be checking this Facebook post during working hours or I'll have to dock your pay. Ha

Happy Birthday Dad!
We had our party on Friday this year, since we’re closed on Sundays. Our birthdays are 2 days apart, so we always had a joint party. As a kid I hated it. Today, I don’t mind celebrating Dad on my birthday or any other day. Also, I’m used to my Dad stealing my Birthday spotlight. Lol
Dad- We miss you, we love you, and we’ll keep celebrating you always. ❤️

Today marks 5 years without Dad. He always said “If you wanna stay good lookin’ you gotta eat”. Since we definitely wanna stay good lookin’, we ate. I’m not sure if day drinkin’ also helps you stay good lookin, but we did that also.
I honestly can’t believe it’s been 5 years. It’s funny how something can feel like an eternity, and at the same time sneak up on you and hit you like a ton of bricks. So much has changed, but at the same time so many things have stayed the same.
Even though he’s not physically here, I know he’s up there watching and judging my every move. Lol
I’m sure he already knows that every night I triple check the compressors, the heaters, the welders, pull on the exterior handles tooooo many times, and pretty much walk around acting like a complete psychopath at closing. I didn't inherit his dark Italian skin tone (bummer), but I definitely got 150% of his OCD.
My dad used to say "I shoulda been a proctologist because I deal with all day long". And as I type this I just realized he dealt with me all day long. Ha
Since I haven't hit full on proctologist status yet, I would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to our customers, employees, friends, and family. My dad said he was going to start “selling his body to make some real money”, but thanks to the support from our amazing customers he never had to!
Lastly- to all the guys & gals who keep this machine running behind the scenes, we are beyond thankful for you. ❤️
