A great day at Bellingham Yachts as we prepare to bring Marex Boats USA to the West Coast.

We were fortunate to spend the day with Marex owner, Thomas Aalrud, and Marex Boats USA President Chris Hughes, focused on training, product knowledge, and preparing our team to represent the Marex brand and its exceptional lineup here in the Pacific Northwest.

Marex’s reputation for premium craftsmanship, thoughtful design, all-weather capability, and family-focused boating makes this an exciting addition to our offerings.

We’re looking forward to what’s ahead—and to introducing more boaters on the West Coast to Marex.

The 2026 Pacific Northwest Sabre Yachts & Back Cove Yachts Rendezvous has officially come to a close, and our hearts are full.

What makes this event so special isn’t just the incredible destinations we visit—it’s the people. We are continually reminded how fortunate we are to be part of such a welcoming, generous, and vibrant boating community. Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared stories, laughter, and adventures, and helped create another unforgettable Rendezvous.

We wrapped up our time in beautiful Victoria with a delicious Chocolate & Bakery Tour—seven stops, seven treats, and by the end, we had walked the city and were all happily full! Later that evening, we gathered for an incredible dinner at Wind Cries Mary, a restaurant that is truly a must-visit when you’re in Victoria.

With homage to Maine and continuing one of our favorite Rendezvous traditions, we spent our final morning cooking blueberry pancakes on the dock before saying our farewells. Some boats pointed their bows toward home, while others set off for adventures farther north.

Until next time, may your wakes be smooth, your anchorages peaceful, and your friendships continue to grow with every mile on the water. Safe travels, everyone—we can’t wait to see you again.

The 2026 Pacific Northwest Sabre Yachts & Back Cove Yachts Rendezvous is officially underway in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia!

We kicked things off with a dockside happy hour, followed by coffee, conversations, Trivia, Old Fashions and plenty of time reconnecting with familiar faces while welcoming new friends. It was also a pleasure to have special guests join us from Maine: Jason Constantine of Back Cove, Kevin Burns of Sabre & Back Cove, and Lynn Bedoin of Sabre.

The adventure continued with a guided tour of the historic Parliament Buildings, where we learned about their rich history and admired the stunning architecture. Then, dressed in our finest, we enjoyed a classic afternoon High Tea at the iconic Empress Hotel.

It’s already been an unforgettable start to a wonderful weekend of gathering, friendship, and making memories on the water together.

The 2026 Bellingham Yachts Cutwater Cruise concluded this morning with our infamous Blueberry Pancake breakfast!

It was such a joy and pleasure being together - mopeding around Galliano Island, playing co****le while the sun was setting in Montague Harbor, and gathering for a friendly game of Left-Right- Center on Thetis Island.

The days on the water in the Canadian Gulf Islands have been nothing short of incredible, and the evenings on the docks are where lifelong memories are made.

We feel beyond grateful to those who joined us and we are already looking forward to cruising again next year!

With 5 days down and 2 to go on the 2026 Bellingham Yachts Cutwater Cruise, the days have been wonderful and full.

From a pickleball tournament, Happy Hour/Knot Tying and Wine tasting, unforgettable sunsets to shared meals, laughter on the docks, and new adventures each day, this week has been a reminder that boating is about so much more than the destination. It’s about the people you meet, the memories you make, and the freedom to explore together.

Watching new friendships form, longtime owners reconnect, and crews experience the incredible cruising grounds of the Pacific Northwest is what this cruise is all about. This is the Cutwater Boats lifestyle—adventure, community, and making the most of every mile on the water.

We’re soaking up every moment and looking forward to making the most of our final two days together. ⚓️
