2018 Silverado 5.3 had engine failure , they replaced it with Jasper non DOD replacement engine , running on 87 octane , had issues with fuel trims being way out of range on tune that was in it from a mail order tuning place out of TX , got everything dialed in and running much better now

Another new policy we will be implementing immediately for vehicles coming in for any kind of work , I am going to start asking for “current” pictures of the cars before bringing them in for any kind of tuning or work , between the cars coming in full of rust that aren’t even in my opinion worth fixing because they are death traps and other cars coming in with 5 years worth of trash and junk parts inside of the cars , gear shift levers missing , drivers seat with one bolt holding it in , 3 different brand dry rotted tires etc , we are just forced to start vetting the condition of the cars before they come in , it’s a waste of my time , because the cars usually need ten times the amount of repair work as we are expecting to have to do. And yes we have dealt with all the above in just the last few months
