Hot weather and travel season is upon us and it's time to talk about your coolant.

How important is this vital liquid? Let's review!

⭐️Temperature Regulation:

Coolant absorbs excess heat generated by your engine and dissipates it through the radiator.

⭐️System Protection:

It contains additives that prevent internal corrosion and keep liquids from freezing in cold weather.

⭐️Costly Repairs:

Driving with low coolant can lead to a blown head gasket, a warped engine block, or a completely seized engine, which means thousands of dollars in repairs - and canceled plans.

The Jimmy's crew got together some dog and cat food to donate to the Bedford County Animal Shelter today.

The shelter tries to keep all the animals on a diet of Purina brand food because changes can upset their stomachs. If you're able to swing it, remember them when you're shopping. If everyone donated even a small bag or a few cans of dog or cat food, they'd never run low. 🐾

We want to give a shout out and extend a big thanks to all the shelter workers. You are appreciated! 🙌

Jimmy's wants to wish each and every mother, stepmother, foster mother, grandmother, and pet mom a very happy Mother's Day. 🌹 May you each enjoy your special day and be honored for all you do.

In 1865 a poet by the name of William Ross Wallace wrote:

"Blessings on the hand of women!

Angels guard its strength and grace,

In the palace, cottage, hovel,

Oh, no matter where the place;

Would that never storms assailed it,

Rainbows ever gently curled;

For the hand that rocks the cradle

Is the hand that rules the world."

How true that is!

Look at Jackson. He's absolutely precious and desperate for affection. He has no idea why he has been brought to such a noisy place and he's confused. Despite it all, look at the trust he has in Alex. He was eating up the cuddling.

There are some beautiful, loving dogs and cats waiting for a home and someone to love them in return. Here's a small sampling. Visit the shelter to meet the rest!

Also, the shelter is critically low in pet food. We've listed what they need - all Purina products. If you're able to spare a bag or two, they can really use it.
