We asked our client: "Would you like for to do the core while we were in there" Client: "No". Now, this being our mechanics father. We gave him no choice. Thankfully, we did because we found it to be caked up with debris.

We also recommend to do the heater core & evaporator core at the same time. Since they are co-located. This way you'll end up saving more money. As most vehicle require the whole dash to be removed. As well as the a/c system vacuumed & recharged.

Ignition Failure...

This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Post came in a new switch after detail shop was unable to get it to start.

Findings: Someone thought it was arts 🎨 & crafts when installing this ignition switch. The wires were found to have on the terminals.

Diagnostic findings: 🛢 dipstick reading shows halfway. from oil drain plug & . Missing bolt 🔩 from steering shaft to gearbox. & mounting bushings dry rotted/missing pieces. The ⛽️ line is pinched. The front accessories are not lined up straight for the v-belts. Passenger side inner nut not secured. bushings missing and swaybar end links. Driver side exhuast fl**ge missing a nut and others loose. Ford 9" rearend pinion seal & gasket leaking.

When your Acura identifies as a stripper‼️

This Acura came in for an outer tie rod. We can only assume after hitting a yellow pole.🤔 Guess it was trying to make some money💵 for gas ⛽️. However, the inner & outer tie rods are shaped in the form of a ❓️. Unable to be driven, the body shop refused service.

This beautiful 1959 Chevrolet came in for check engine light on. We discovered 2 transmission codes for gear ⚙️ ratio incorrect.

we tested tracked the Dakota Digital Dash and compared it to the scanner & . The scanner showed drastically different from the dash & GPS. Even after a new speed sensor. It was doing the same.

Thanks to Pongallo Racing Engines for adjusting the on this & recalibrate the gear ratio.

Unfortunately, the high side a/c line blew out. We ran into issues with the TCCI a/c compressor & trying to match fittings. Turns out the compressor had a metric fitting.

So we called the guys at Vintage Air & they took care of us. New a/c compressor, fittings & line. Also the guys at Kwik Performance, Inc. for an awesome lifetime warranty on their a/c brackets. Since we found the original one broken in two spots.

Now off to get the bed done & all cleaned up for

We all hit a road block 🚧 and 8 bolts is definitely terrible job for mobile work.

We got this Chevrolet in for a well overdue . All 8 of the rusty bolts 🔩 had to be evicted & the 2 were seized. This was definitely 💯 easier on a lift then laying on your back in the dirt.

"New to me car"

2024 TOYOTA in for . Client recently purchased it from a car rental auction.

It still looks and smells new with only 60k miles. It only needs a fresh set of and two new . The fronts were halfway worn while the rears were brand new. So we rotated the new tires to the front, filled them with "winter" air and double checked ✔️ the tire in the trunk.
