2010 TOYOTA came in for a 2nd opinion for a oil 🛢 leak. After just having his at the dealership. He was quoted 6k to fix it.

Now we're not sure what all they "found" to he leaking since they didn't clean anything up before or after the oil change.

After taking a look to see the front timing cover & oil filter housing cooler covered in build up. We degrease the engine and blew it off with air. Once dried, we let the engine run to see if we had an active . As luck would have it. We noticed the side of the oil filter housing had a very small leak.

Some new seals, maybe some new hoses & hose clamps to ensure those are not a problem. This truck will be ready for the .

Dry Rotted & Leaking Brakes

It's not good to let vehicles sit.

Reason 1: Rubber dry rotts. Seals fail & brake leak.

This '91 was due for a brake system overhaul. The rear wheel cylinders were leaking very badly. Once the drums were removed the fall apart. The self adjusters were rusted from the brake fluid.

Due to the wheel cylinders leaking. The brake was empty. From the looks of it. It looked fairly new. The front rubber brake hoses were rotting away.

Calipers pulled to depress the pistons. They were seized & found collapsed brake lines. After replacing all of the , , rotors, , brake shoes, drum and hardware. It was finally time to bleed the brakes....

Until we found the rear of the brake master cylinder had failed. Air pushing past the seals. A new master cylinder and make a hard line. The Jimmy's brakes are ready for the open road.

Definitely got the most out of those brake pads.

Going this low can cause brake caliper failure. It may also cause boiling of your brake fluid. Hot 🔥 fluid equals no brakes & no brakes could end with a wreck.

Got Brakes❓️

2022 in for rear .

Since this truck is used for hauling car's. We upgraded the rear brakes with a set of truck & medium duty & pair them with a set of O'Reilly Auto Parts Brake Best Pros Rotors.

Our client might be sending us a bill for medical services due to whiplash after touching the brakes. 😉

At least we know that the truck and load will be safe.

Failed A/C Compressor‼️

2021 Jeep 4x4 came in for a/c blowing hot.

We found the a/c compressor clutch was coming apart. Why❓️These new a/c compressors for R1234YF are a variable compressor. This means that they run consistently. Therefore, they will fail faster than the older R134a systems.

We replaced it with a new a/c compressor, valve, all new seals. Vacuum & Recharged to find out the brand new compressor was bad out of the box. SMH 🫠 After getting another one on order & replacing it. It's now blowing at 32° 🥶 out of the a/c vents.

*Even brand new parts fail out of the box.

This couple came into town to see their grandson graduate 🎓 from MCRD Parris Island . When their 2011 started having car troubles.

Client's concern: Vibration under acceleration.

Diagnostic findings: Cylinder #2 due to a bad fuel ⛽️ . Quick call around and we had new rushed in overnight from Jacksonville, FL. Thanks Rick Hendrick Volvo of Charleston, SC.
