It’s been a while since we shared an update on what was previously our 997. With that said, the car was sold late last year to an inquiring individual and in turn its restoration, conversion, and more as been a paid priority versus if the car had continued to be a personal endeavor.

With that said, today the car hit the dyno making a solid 411whp/402tq through our standard street setup (quiet and no drone was favored).

I’ve had the original CPE test mule (and my first 911) back in my possession for roughly a month now and let me tell you, it feels better than it ever did!

While I’ve sold this car a few times to build a roller that’s fallen into my lap or to reinvest the money back into the company this car has a special place in my heart as it’s the car that started it all as well as one that reminds my of simpler times. On Fridays, we hit the rollers! Today our WA 996.2 Carrera hit the dyno fitted w/ a GMPP 525HP LS3 (at the request of our customer) making a commendable 415whp/400tq! Following our post-conversion miles logged, this car will be shipped back to the west coast!

It’s a family affair! Our friend turned customer Rahul S. of IL flew in w/ his daughter this morning to take delivery of our first ever (and his) ‘CPE Touring’! Not only did we fit this car w/ a GMPP 495HP LS3 but also performed an auto->manual conversion and respray in Porsche jet green metallic w/ a ton more!

He’ll be enjoying the next few days visiting nearby family and taking the scenic route home, safe travels and congratulations friend!

* Fun Fact: We couldn’t get our usual engine lid “popped” shot as his trunk switch (Targa specific) failed ironically this morning …

Next week our customer turned friend flys out to pickup his new CPE LS3 997 in which we’ve dubbed our ‘CPE Touring’.

Starting life as an automatic Targa4 we performed our signature engine re-power, completed an auto -> manual conversion, resprayed the vehicle jet green metallic, and fitted such w/ all the aero, suspension, and wheels you see pictured.

There’s something about this one as it simply checks ALL the boxes!
