2020 Ram 3500 Dually | 6.7L Cummins | 68RFE

This truck came in with a failed factory turbo. The actuator wasn’t the issue—the turbo vanes were physically stuck. Instead of going back to stock, we upgraded it with an ATS Aurora Stage 1 VGT turbocharger.

While we were in there, we also installed a 3.5” intake horn and grid heater delete, eliminating the factory grid heater setup and the risk of the grid heater nut coming loose and causing major engine damage.

• 3rd Gear Full Lockup in Normal Drive Mode

This truck is running our custom Switch-On-The-Fly tuning through the factory DEF gauge, controlled using a CCV-style switch.

Engine Tuning:
• 0–180 HP SOTF tuning
• Hiss & rumble idle
• Low boost fueling
• Grid heater delete
• 4,100 RPM hard-cut limiter
• 3,200 RPM wide-open-throttle shift points

68RFE Transmission Tuning:
• 170 PSI line pressure
• 60 PSI resting pressure at idle
• 120 PSI engine-brake constant
• Locked torque-converter shifts
• 3rd-gear full lockup
• Firmer, more positive shifts
• Raised shift points
• Underdrive pulse disabled
• Custom shift strategy designed to help prolong the life of the 68RFE while improving overall drivability and performance
