We finally got to sit down and spend some time on the dyno with Twin turbo Perf from its debut at the Abilene half mile. We finished this car at 8am the day of the race loaded it on the trailer and preyed for the best being our first big power lambo. The result was 4th pass it went 225 mph. Due to an unfortunate accident the rest of the day was shut down and we could no longer run. We put the car aside to catch up on some work and finally threw it back on the dyno to work out a few small bugs (mainly sensor calibration) and get a really dyno number on it. and my self spent the last 2/3 nights messing with the car dialing it in and the results speak for themselves. This car has the catalog of and custom parts including a custom millspec harness made by Cody, Cody awd controller, dual m150’s with every point of data we can get. The motor is a sleeved stock block with our spec pistons and custom made 300m rods, the heads are packed with goodies and our custom valve job/port and blend work. The turbo system is fully built here at Calvo Motorsports including our friends at being powered by twin 8082 x5c topped off with some beautiful billet intake manifolds. We are excited to see what this car actually dialed will do at this up coming half mile in Hondo Texas.

This engine has the best of best we offer from aged 625 main studs line honed to our spec housing bore, sleeved/dry decked, fire ringed block for all the high boost needs to the cylinder heads packed full of guides/springs/valve package. A little insight to the attention to detail the in my opinion gets looked over by a lot of people to get it done “quicker”. There is no getting is done fast when it comes engine/trans building. If your builder is bragging about how fast they get that work done in, they are missing stuff plane and simple. I’m going to be doing more live videos on what we do here hoping people can understand what actually goes into building a proper car. Enjoy.

So we alot of talk about different firmware’s, boost control, tq control ect. Here’s a live view of how Collin’s (can’t tag him since he’s permabanned) Ninjaneering firmware works. The beauty of this firmware is the actual range of control. To hit 35 lbs in Chris’s car we can’t run a 3 or 5 lbs spring. By using the tq management we
Are able to control tq as low as we want. In this instant I was dialing the 700tq range and from dyno last night you can see the car makes massive power. Dont mind the exhaust lambda warning when I let off at the end. I fixed it after that pull.
