Calvo Motorsports would like to thank and congratulate The Kinetic Co., Inc. for running his famous “Sr-71” Acr-e this this last weekends half mile. Cash the owners first half mile he cracked 200mph his first try and had a weekend best of 212mph. This is a giant feat for someone who’s never gone over 140mph in their life prior to this! We cannot wait to see what he does with more seat time in Abilene Texas in 8 weeks! Thank you for the continued support with Calvo Motorsports.

took his 2000hp Twin Turbo Lambo for its first draggy pass after receiving his car from us and the proof is in the pudding. This was around 1800hp with no prior draggy attempts on our end. Simply took delivery and tried. We are excited to see what his Gf does with the car at Indy in a few weeks with the car.

Here is an inside look at what people don’t see behind the scenes. We simply don’t “slap” parts on our cars and prey for the best. Each part we use is engineering for the application. Whether it’s road racing, drag, or half mile we make sure our customers are getting the best product for the application. We have been working with for over 7 years and the product has been amazing. Made right here, just outside Austin Texas, American designed, American employed and manufactured for the highest quality.

Best trans builder on this side of the Mississippi! has been the brains and brunt behind the Calvo Motorsports drive train department for over 12 years! Little snap shot of the man who’s probably built more sequential’s than most shops combined! Today he is doing a health check in 2400hp Performante Dl800 with close to if not more than 150 passes on it! The Ppg gear box looked practically brand new and will be installed for some more abuse next week.

We never think we’re the best, so we make sure we are always evolving, reinventing the wheel, going back and tweaking. We welcome competition because without it, we would simply stop trying. It motivates us to push the envelope and go back to the drawing board and solve what you thought was already solved. You can see this in Manny’s 1800x laying down 1350whp in second gear without “riding” traction control. This was done through rigorous trials and tribulations of alignment’s and Triple adjustable Penske settings. With many cars in the high 2’s to low 3’s in the 60-130 self race, Manny’s car picked up a few tenths from lessons learned. We would like to thank Manny for the all years of support with his builds on his Viper.

Just some 2 bit tuner who doesn’t know what they’re doing and a fabricator who can’t get fl**ge to hold pressure🫣……..congrats Dana Westover and Cody Phillips for finishing that beast! It’s been a long time coming! No Mickey Mousing around with this super efficient set up from and tuned by the wizard him self from ! Vegas streets should be on alert and hopefully Dana will be joining us at some half mile events to push this program even further!

With the Indy half mile approaching fast, we are working vigorously to try some new strategies and maybe push the already 2.5 year old Gen V standing half mile record held by Greg’s Acr at 233.2 a little further. Let’s see in a few weeks. Antonio might be out of retirement and piloting his old……….
