IMPORTANT UPDATES
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE, Jenni D here for some news and important updates.
First off, BEFORE I worry anyone, I want to ensure everyone that anything we have done over the past 4 years to include improvements to the property and plans for future sustainable income HAVE NOT CHANGED.
Let’s make that clear right now.
-The vet clinic is done and ready for a vet. We don’t have much equipment but will cross that bridge when it comes. Grants for equipement and vets are plentiful.
-Dog park improvements are still happening but our contractor is busy and has been and will be for a little while longer, likely till fall.
-I decided NOT to surrender my CA business license because well, why should I? I am not afraid of the big bad wolf anymore.
-H3 MUST reduce our number down to 100 dogs so we can open our vet clinic. Our current number is 208.
-H3 Is a facility based rescue that can house 250 dogs with the right staffing and support, but unfortunately the support Isnt there for the staff we need to sustain this many dogs.
Now let’s talk reality. And staff cut backs, even though we still have more than 200 huskies here.
When we started rescuing MASS amounts of CA huskies we had a dedicated PLAN to sustain a team that could facilitate the care of the 275 we rescued while driving towards a future of efficiency. That meant getting 150 into homes asap with the current team, although chaotic, but it would allow us to continue to maintain the current staff even though the number was lower.
The support was promised, necessary and impossible to succeed without.
But then we were ”cut off” from that support when the hidden plan to dissolve it all and move it to CA was revealed.
Can you imagine someone coming in here thinking that we would just leave our roots (they, I was not in the future scenario) for a life in stressful CA? Ohh wait, that wasn’t the plan. In fact, the H3 team really wouldnt be needed anymore… the social media reach was all that’s needed, after all, a sustainable business plan here in Oklahoma was just too much of a legal risk.
So here we are, at the final moment where our whole world changes. The last time, the VERY last time, I will beg for the sake of my team and what we need to get the NINETY FOUR California huskies into homes that are still onsite.
My core team, me Rob Melissa Annabelle and Mike are all withholding the money we earned literally working 24 hours a day for these dogs. (Reminder. My kids have a roof over their heads that isnt free)
If a miracle doesnt happen today and no one steps up for us the way we were promised, then we will be letting half of our team go and will have to care for the 200 at half staff and and stop the transports.
HERES WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE STOP THE TRANSPORTS.
Huskies stop going into homes and it takes months/years longer for us to get our team back.
So I am going to ask. For the last time.
You won’t hear me ask again, because I just cannot.
Will you help me finish this CA project? I need my team, we need monthly support, we need donations and we need a miracle.
We just need to get down to 100 so I can focus on the next phase of the sustainable plan.
For those thinking the plan is dumb and not working.. look around you… maybe it’s happening fast or “grown up” but we are doing it. We are doing what we say we will do and we are not giving up.
I don’t want to give up on the team the previous support and I built. It’s not fair to them, and it’s not fair to the CA huskies.
So will you help? I don’t have anyone to match, I don’t have anyone that has messaged that wants to help, I don’t have anyone except this last moment of truth, the moment that will make or break what we have.
It won’t break us completely but it will break our spirits. The husky world needs this team and we need you to help us maintain it.

Dont. Just f’ing dont. I have 4 families that will lose their jobs because someone got to “spend the past two and a half years learning and experiencing boots on the ground rescue with the most amazing team”. The same team that got messages that their support was now cut off justt abfew weeks ago.
Guess what. The amazing team and I say you can kiss our fluffy husky butts.
Because at this point, What else do we have to lose?
