The Subaru Sambar Dias Classic is finally back on the road! 🚐

After a very long repair process, this little piece of JDM history will be rolling down the streets of Colorado.
If you’ve ever thought of getting into a Kei Truck or van be prepared for the trials and tribulations ahead. This one needed a new timing cover, fuel pump, and basically the entire coolant system overhauled. The radiator was completely shot and leaking fluid, and the coolant pipes that run to the engine in the back had rusted out. After finding replacement pipes, some custom fabrication, multiple coolant system cleanings & flushes, and many long waits on parts from Japan, it’s finally been restored to its former glory.
This isn’t our usual repair here at the shop but was a fun project to take on and we hope the owner can enjoy it for years to come!
