As a 100% employee-owned company, we take pride not only in the work we do, but also in the communities where we live and work. is one important way we can help support those communities. 2026 marks the 45th annual Minnesota FoodShare : the largest grassroots food and fund drive in the state of MN. Each year, Northern challenges our employee-owners to raise donations for their local food pantries during the March campaign, with an offer to match the funds raised. Today a few of our Willmar staff were honored to present the Kandiyohi County Food Shelf with a check for $1,410, along with 67 lbs of food and personal care items! No matter what state you live in, Northern would like to encourage everyone to consider making a donation to your local emergency food pantry. No donation is too small to help in your community.
