We’re proud to share an exciting milestone for our RACE Apprentice Program at OpenRoad Collision.

This past week, tool sets started arriving for our apprentices—helping them take the next step as they transition into the body shop and begin working hands-on alongside their mentors. These tool kits are provided in partnership with I-CAR and give apprentices a strong foundation as they continue learning the craft and building confidence on the shop floor.

Apprentices who have completed the required training milestones have already begun receiving their tool boxes, and it’s been great to see the excitement and pride that comes with reaching this achievement.

We believe in investing in people, supporting career growth, and building the next generation of skilled collision repair professionals—and this is just one more way we’re doing that.

Big thank you to RFK Charter School for inviting us out to their career fair. We have been working with RFK to help their growing body shop class and it was nice to connect with the rest of their students at the fair.

The kids had a lot of great questions for our team and we were impressed with their curiosity and intuitiveness. Our own Chris Kobus joined and spoke with the students about his own journey through our RACE program for apprentices.

Always exciting getting our certification emblems for the new year! We received our 2025 emblem from Porsche, once again making us the only Porsche Approved Collision Center in town. A search on their website shows the next closest Approved shop is in Colorado. Shout out to our team for continuing to advance their training and skills to keep us !
