Older Porsche’s come coated from the factory in Germany with a substance called Cosmoline. Cosmoline protects the bare metals from corroding during shipment to the USA. Once in the US, granted the climate supports it, it is possible to remove the Cosmoline to reveal practically brand new metal underneath which is far more pleasing to the eye.

Slightly different from our normal type of job, this customer actually WANTED the paint to be removed!

And rightfully so… The people who had their hands on this bike before the current owner did a terrible spray paint job all over the bike.

Most of it was able to be powerwashed off using a profession grade heated pressure washer but there were still some areas that needed attention.

Dry Ice Blasting made quick work of what would have otherwise not been possible without removing/replacing parts, bringing back tons of value into this motorcycle.
