Everybody talks about the work that comes with owning a boat…

But there’s usually one job you weirdly don’t mind doing.

Washing it down after a trip.
Waxing and polishing.
Rigging tackle for the next morning.
Organizing the boat.
Messing with electronics.
Greasing the trailer.
Or just standing there staring at it while pretending you’re “working on something.”

Backing a trailer without turning the ramp into a parking lot.
Tying a proper knot without thinking about it.
Docking clean in wind or current.
