From 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2028, businesses can tap on two national grants to support their move to electric heavy vehicles:
• Up to $40,000 under the Heavy Vehicle Zero Emissions Scheme (HVZES)
(for vehicles with a MLW > 3,500kg)
• Up to $30,000 per charger under the Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG)

In addition, the EV Common Charger Grant (ECCG) has been extended to 31 Dec 2026, co-funding up to 50% of eligible charger costs at non-landed private residences.
