Why should you consider an electric vehicle (EV)? What are the biggest misconceptions about owning an EV? Olivia Oo, Vice President of Sustainable Energy Solutions at SP Group shares her perspectives as an EV driver herself and elaborates on SP’s ambitions to accelerate the growth of sustainable transportation in Singapore through our fast-charging network.

“Like most drivers contemplating the switch to an EV, range anxiety was very real to me at the start. However, with the current SP network spanning more than 450 charging points across Singapore, I’ve been able to integrate charging as a part of my daily life… (with charging that takes just 30 minutes) I’ve had many instances where my car was done charging before I was even done with my errand…” shares Olivia.

And more personally for Claire, will her kids enjoy the EV ride and will she still get as much thrill and joy out of driving a EV as she did with petrol cars? Expect a fun ride as she lifts the bonnet, kicks the tyres and gets behind the wheel of various EVs.
