IORK2026

DAY 2

Well today didn't quite go the way I was expecting.

I knew my group i was racing against were fast but wow there was some absolute chaos but bloody amazing driving from everyone.

Heading into my last heat I got a kart that would turn out to be an absolute rocket ship.........

BUT

The IORK GODS had other plans for me in this race.
Had some what of a game plan heading into this race to keep at the pointy end.
Unfortunately we had a kart spin 2 karts ahead heading into the hairpin and the kart between spun out and I got boxed in up against the barrier with no way of getting free with out a marshal.
Collateral damage i guess you could say.

This then lead me to double stack in pits and then my kart have a "technical malfunction" we will say 1 lap later and I guess it was a hot lap session for me to make as much ground up as I could.

Ended up finishing 10th but got the 2nd fastest lap time of 20.654 only 0.134 behind the fastest lap of the race.

This now puts us in the BIG DANCE for the FINALS tomorrow.

6 wgtn drivers have made it through to the final so keep an eye out to see what happens tomorrow.

IORK2026

Day 1

Not a bad start for my 2026 campaign.

6th to 2nd for my 1st heat finishing behind the legend of Chris Anderson

13th to 4th for my 2nd heat and what I didn't realize at the time was I was leading by 7 seconds until I had to pit for the 2nd time.

Awesome day of racing, can't wait to do it all again tomorrow.

Bring on day 2
