CAMBRIDGE WATER DELIVERIES...

Different jobs. Same essential requirement: water where it’s needed.

A couple of recent jobs from the CST Water team show just how varied bulk water delivery can be.

In Cambridge, we’ve been filling water mains ready for new connections.

Out on the farm, it was a different story. A customer’s farm pump was playing up and couldn’t keep up with demand, so our team delivered water to help cover the shortfall while they got the issue sorted.

From infrastructure and construction work through to rural water supply, sometimes you simply need a large volume of water delivered to the right place.

That’s where CST Water comes in.

If you need bulk water delivered for a project, property or farm - get in touch with us now and we can get you a quote.

Backing local talent all the way to Chile!⚽

At CST Group, supporting our local community is something we’re proud to do, especially when it means helping someone chase a big dream. And there’s something extra special about being able to support people within the CST Group family.

We’re excited to sponsor Ellis Williams, the son of one of our CST Group team members, as he travels to Chile with the RH3 Ricky Herbert Academy of New Zealand to compete in an international football tournament.

Ellis will have the opportunity to test himself against some of the best young football teams from around the world - an incredible experience for a young player with big ambitions.

Everyone at CST Group is wishing him all the best for an incredible tournament! 💪

September’s review winner is… Brett Wallace! 🎉

Congratulations, Brett! There’s a Prezzy Card coming your way!

Brett chose CST Group for his septic tank clean and had these lovely words to share:

“CST are easy to deal with. Quick to respond to any questions and were available when we needed our septic tank cleaned. Service on the day was outstanding. There was a blockage that was dealt with quickly, as well as the tank being cleaned. We got quotes from multiple companies but chose CST due to the professional level of correspondence.”

Thanks, Brett! We’re proud to hear that our communication helped you choose CST, and that the team backed it up with outstanding service on the day. Taking care of our customers starts well before the truck arrives!

Is your septic tank due for a clean? Get in touch with our team to book it in. Whether you’re a returning customer or contacting us for the first time, we’re here to help.

A big thank you to everyone who leaves us a review. Your feedback recognises the hard work of our team and helps others feel confident choosing our family-owned business.

Congratulations to our latest review winner, Jeanne van Kuyk! 🎉

Your Prezzy Card is on its way!

Jeanne left us this lovely review:

“We had a leak in our farm concrete water tank, so we contacted CST Group as, due to the water pressure, the repair needed to be completed from the inside. The person who came out was friendly, helpful and professional, and did an excellent five-star job. I truly recommend CST Group to anyone out there.”

Thanks so much, Jeanne! We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a great review. 💛

A little reminder, we clean water tanks and deliver water in bulk.

If you’d like to keep the water already in your tank, we can temporarily store it while the tank is cleaned and then return it afterwards. Or, if you prefer, we can deliver a fresh load of water once the clean is complete.

Thanks again to everyone who takes the time to leave us a review. Your feedback means a lot to our team and our family-owned business.

Darryl and Ross had a great day attending the Trade and Industrial Waste Forum last week.

It was a valuable opportunity to hear what’s happening across the trade waste industry around New Zealand, learn about some of the challenges and changes different regions are facing, and see how others are approaching them.

One of the highlights was meeting and connecting with a number of Trade Waste Officers from around NZ and having some really good conversations about what’s happening on the ground.

Always worthwhile getting out, sharing ideas, making connections, and bringing some new knowledge back to CST Group.

Good people. Good work. Good excuse for a BBQ & Some Beers. 🍻🔥

On Friday, we headed out to catch up with the awesome team at Phoenix Civil Limited and put on a BBQ to say thanks for their continued support and for being such a great team to work with.

Tanya took charge of the BBQ and absolutely nailed it, keeping the crew well fed while everyone enjoyed a proper catch-up.

We do a lot of work with Phoenix Civil, and having a trusted team to work alongside makes a real difference on every project. Good people, good communication and a strong working relationship go a long way.

Thanks for having us Phoenix Civil Limited - it's always great catching up with the crew, and we’re looking forward to plenty more projects together!

Looking forward to many more great projects together.

Our Team in Action: Emergency Flood Response at Hamilton Police Station

Last week, our CST Group team was called urgently to the Hamilton Police Station after a council pipe burst and caused extensive flooding throughout the basement.

Our crews used our specialist vacuum trucks and equipment to quickly and safely remove the floodwater, bringing the affected area back under control.

It’s exactly the kind of job our Flooding & Emergency Spill Response service is built for.

With an experienced crew available 24/7, and a fleet of vacuum trucks and hydrovac units ready to go, we can respond quickly when flooding, spills or liquid waste emergencies threaten to disrupt a site.

For commercial, industrial and public facilities, a fast response can make a big difference in limiting disruption and preventing further damage.

If you have flooding or a spill that needs urgent attention, give CST Group a call - we’re Here to Help.

MEET MATT 👋

If you’ve had one of the CST Group trucks turn up on site, there’s a good chance you’ve met Matt.

Matt has been with CST Group for almost 9 years and is one of the guys out there doing the mahi, meeting customers and getting the job done every day.

Let's learn a bit more about our amazing Matt!

FAVOURITE PART OF THE JOB
Being out and about, meeting people and never knowing exactly what the day will bring. No two days are the same, and over the years he’s made some great mates along the way.

SOMETHING CUSTOMERS MIGHT NOT KNOW
You can’t always completely empty a tank if there’s a high water table around it. Take too much weight out of the tank and there’s a risk it can actually lift or “pop” out of the ground. A good reminder that there’s often a bit more to these jobs than simply turning up and pumping a tank out!

BIG ACHIEVEMENT
Matt got his Class 4 licence a few years ago, helping him take on even more of the work happening out in the field.

AROUND THE YARD
Matt is known for always being up for a good yarn - whether that’s with the team or customers out on site.

OUTSIDE OF WORK
Weekends are usually a mix of hunting, fishing, watching the kids’ sport and spending time with family. One family tradition Matt values is getting everyone together for dinner once a month. And if you’re looking for him on a quiet Sunday morning, Robert Harris in Cambridge is a pretty good place to start. ☕

FUN FACT
Matt was born in England and moved to New Zealand when he was three.

WHAT’S PLAYING IN THE TRUCK?
Depends on the day - ZM, The Rock or whatever Spotify playlist is doing the job.

BUCKET LIST
A year-long tour around the Northern Hemisphere……and a hunting trip in the South Island. 🎯

Next time you see Matt out and about, make sure you say g’day, there’s a very good chance he’ll be up for a yarn.

Congratulations to our July review winner, Diane Millow!

Diane left us this lovely review:

“Highly recommend this Cambridge company as we've been using them for many years. They are prompt, efficient and do a discount on more than one septic tank empty. They do a thorough job and always offer helpful advice.”

Thanks so much, Diane! We really appreciate the kind words, and your ongoing support over the years. 💛

And a special shout-out to the lovely Clara from our accounts team for being a good sport and helping us with the winner video. After asking around a few of the team and getting a few very quick “not me!” responses 😂 , Clara kindly stepped up to the camera.

It turns out plenty of the CST Group team are much happier working behind the scenes than starring in front of the lens!

But if there’s someone from the team you’d like to see make a cameo, let us know in the comments - we’ll see what we can do to convince them to get in front of the camera! 🤞

Thanks again to everyone who takes the time to leave us a review. Your feedback means a lot to our team and our family-owned business.
