Between rising costs (of everything), unpredictable weather, and the pressure many businesses and families are under, now more than ever it’s important we take the time to look out for one another.
Let’s be honest, our industry isn’t always the best at slowing down or checking in. We’re good at getting the job done, pushing through, and cracking on. But that doesn’t mean we can’t do better.
Across our sites, we already see the items below happening, let’s ramp things up this week:
• Lend a hand when someone’s job runs over
• Check in on a workmate who’s doing it tough
• Be patient when things don’t go to plan
• Share knowledge, tools, or time to help get the job done
• Support local crews, customers, and suppliers where you can
Kindness doesn’t always slow the work down. More often, it keeps things moving in the right direction. Let’s keep backing each other, on the tools, in the yard, and out in our communities.
Who are you going to show kindness to this week?
