First one up is Tui and Khris’s 2008 Ve Hsv R8 in for a new Mcleod Clutch, here’s the rundown from Zak!

Finished up a couple of weeks back we had Troy’s super tough Vf Ssv Wagon with the L77 6.0 Engine build no 670

He had been in contact and watching our videos for a couple of years as really wanted some serious V8 sound from the Wagon so we added our Stage 5 power upgrade consisting of Xair Carbon Fibre Otr intake with matching carbon surround, pacemaker headers with high flow cat pipes into twin 3” Xair ultimate exhaust complete with Custom Cannon rear mufflers with Black chrome tips to match his badges and dechrome. Finishing up with a custom Dyno tune where it cranked out a decent 278kw at the rear wheels (approx 340kw at Engine) on 95 Fuel!

We also added the Maloo sideskirts and Eyebrows to finish it off and go with the lowered suspension and black Gtsr rep wheels.

Troy then joined us for the September Xair Meet Cruise Park Track event to Hampton Downs with the family to open her up!

Thank you guys for helping my dream come true, I had a vision for my car and you guys absolutely nailed it and exceeded my expectations ten fold.

It was hard to stay out of my car on the weekend, i was just driving around just to drive around, even seen a few mean as cars you and the team have done up and it felt good knowing I was in one myself rather than wishing I could get mine done.

In the shop recently was this awesome super rare Hsv Maloo Gts Walkinshaw W557 Lsa Supercharged Cammed Ute 1 of 10 sold in New Zealand and this one with only 9000km!

Finished a couple of months back was Simon’s super cool Stage 6 Cammed VE2 SS Wagon!

Featuring a fully rebuilt Engine with all new rings and race bearings along with custom grind Xair L77 Afm delete Street Cam kit including Pac Dual Valve Springs and Ls7 Lifters.

Also part of stage 6 is the Xair Otr intake plus 1.7/8” headers with high flow cats and twin 3” exhaust.

Here’s the rundown from Zak including the engine build process plus the dyno run where it cranked out an impressive for a new tight engine 334kw at the hubs (approx 410kw at the Engine)up a huge 56rwkw / 70nm from before when it just had headers, exhaust and Otr!

The weather and wet track didn’t put people off, what a great turn out for this months Meet Cruise Park Track event today!

Here’s some footage of the day!

Yes Zak was allowed back on track after being black flagged in the Vz in the first session… “my foot slipped on the throttle on the corner” didn’t cut it with the Hampton Downs officials…!

Congrats to those Xair customers and other Commodore owners for getting out on track for the first time, was awesome to catch up, see you at the next one!

Another one of the older Ls1 powered Hsvs, we’ve had a number through the shop recently here’s Ethan’s tough manual VY Clubsport!

We fitted up the custom grind Xair Ls1 manual specific cam kit including Race Pushrods and Pac Dual Valve Springs.

It already had DIfillipo 1.3/4” headers with restrictive decat pipes joining into twin 2.1/2” exhaust!

First time on the Dyno it cranked out a nice 304kw then he came back for our custom 3” Decat Pipes and Full Twin 3” Exhaust to maximize the Cam where it picked up another 8kw / 12nm at the rear wheels on the Dyno!

It also has the same awesome Halo headlights as Zaks Vz!

Ethan had one of these Clubbys when he was younger and sold it so had been on the lookout for a replacement for years before finally picking this one up…

Finished a few months back was Stephens epic Lsa Harrop 2650 Powered GenF 2 Manual Gts!

We removed the engine then rebuilt it with all new Race Bearings, Boost specific Diamond Forged Lsa Pistons, forged rods along with Cnc Ported Heads and custom grind Xair Lsa Supercharger Cam kit including Pac Dual Valve Springs.

Also running the Xair Twin Nostril Twin Exit Vent Vf bonnet, Xair Carbon Lsa Otr Cold Air intake along with massive 2” primary headers with high flow cats and twin 3” walkinshaw exhaust!

We lastly added a Mcleod Rxt 1000hp Clutch and did 500km of running in before bolting it back on the Dyno.

Here’s the rundown from Zak where it cranked out a very nice 536kw at the hubs on 95 Fuel on the post run in tune (approx 620kw at the Engine)! On 98 Fuel and full tune this combo is good for 580-590rwkw (670-680kw at the Engine)

Finished up recently we had Philips super tidy Vf2 Redline Wagon with the awesome LS3 Engine

He wanted some real V8 sound from the wagon so we added our Stage 4 power upgrade consisting of Otr intake, headers with high flow cats into twin 3” exhaust complete with Custom Cannon rear mufflers and Dyno tune!

It cranked out an impressive 317kw at the hubs on the Dyno on 95 fuel (approx 385kw at the Engine), not bad for just bolt on parts from the factory 304kw Engine!
