Finally felt well enough to get downstairs and finish radiator cap fabrication and Ni plating the cap that undress so to stop rust

Managed to get primer on most of the smaller parts after sandblasting ready for white top coats. Got black top coat on springs etc, please with how the new spray gears working

Can't wait to get back onto this totrod, as soon as Stutz is sorted this one's back at workbench. Still haven't decided on body yet but got a few options in mind

So after much consideration I have decided to put off the Stutz going down to the museum until the new year.
I’ll still be posting progress as and when I get the opportunity to do more on it.

While its a bit cold to paint im going to give leather some bees wax to get that back to what it should be then go through and sand and seal all the kauri and Brass. Kauri floor has epoxy over already but needs a final coat.

So it looks like the little Stutz Totrod is going on display next to its big Stutz Racecar!
The trustees at Southward Car Museum just out of Wellington, New Zealand have said that they would love to have the Totrod on display next to the original Race car.
I am beyond proud to have the honor of displaying my work next to so many beautiful examples of workmanship.
With saying that, my OCD is now off the charts so i am stripping the Stutz right back and finalizing the parts of the build that were not quite finished how i wanted.
I was going to get it professionally painted so it looked best on display but have decided to give it a try myself 🙂 worst that can happen is i have to strip it again lol.

Just a note to let you all know i have set up a you tube channel for videos of builds in progress.

I have put the Forge video from a few years back on the page and will be adding an update soon regarding this build as i have finally got what's needed to get it finished and running.
