Johnny has been helping this community with tyre issues for over 30 years .... how can he help you save money ?

Johnny has some customers who pop in around once a month to get their tyres checked by Johnny and the Team.

When he looks at your tyres he is looking for wear on the tyre and on the tyre tread ... he knows if the wheel alignment is off. When you check your tyres regularly you may be able to get a rotation or a wheel alignment done or get your tyres swapped around which can prevent you having to buy new tyres.

Making your tyres last longer does save you money and we have worked hard for over 30 years to keep you keep you and the community !

Were your windscreens iced up this morning ? 🥶❄️

Their main instruction is not to use very hot water as this increases the risk of the windscreen cracking.

Icy weather after rain can cause frosty road conditions and in these conditions you need to know that when you brake your tyres have sufficient traction and grip to help the vehicle stop in a timely fashion.

We recommend that you check your tyres regularly for tread depth and condition … the better the tread the shorter the breaking distance !

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi - Auckland have announced upcoming changes to the warrant of fitness system - there are many but in effect cars between 4-14 years old will only need a warrant every two years versus yearly 🙂

There is an increase in the fine for driving a vehicle with a wheel or tyre that wouldn’t pass an inspection from $150 to $350 !

We have many customers who pop in regularly and we check their tyres and pressures …. By doing regular checks you can prevent problems, help ensure your tyres last longer and !

If your vehicle hits a pothole it can be a bit jarring but it can also damage the tyres.
