It’s been busy, busy, busy at Tyretracks today! I managed to grab a few photos of some very cool cars and put together this reel, but there’s been plenty more happening, with cars, utes and all sorts coming through the workshop.

We’ve also had a new experienced team member start today, which is great news! Welcome aboard! 👋

While I was taking photos of a vehicle, one of our JJ’s Waste and Recycling drivers spotted me and, with a grin, said, “Why don’t you take a photo of my truck?” So of course I did! 😄📸

These guys do an important job for us, taking away all the cardboard boxes our wheels come in and as you know, we get through a lot of wheels! 🛞📦

Thanks to the JJ Waste and Recycling team, our delivery drivers and all the people who help keep things humming here at Tyretracks. You’re legends! 🚛👏

Matt and Keli are the local owner-operators of Tyretracks Goodyear Autocare, and this is a little piece of family history 📸

Keli’s family connection with garages goes back generations: from the Knox Bros garage in Mananui in the early 1920s to the Goodyear Caltex service station in Arapuni in the 1970s.

Matt comes from a family with generations of teachers and headmasters, including a headmaster at Tamahere School back in the day (Attached is a farewell letter marking Matt’s great-grandfather’s departure from Tamahere School). Matt has always had a natural feel for cars, tyres and all things suspension, and has done most of the mahi building Tyretracks. Keli joined him later, after 25 years in the corporate world.

Different backgrounds, a great combination and a business they’ve built together. 🚗

What a weekend at our ETD conference in Auckland! We’re thrilled to bring home two awards: Marketing Excellence and Dunlop Brand Champion 🏆

It was great to meet and chat with the Dunlop team from Japan while we were there. And the timing of the awards couldn’t have been better, with Dunlop the official tyre sponsor of Supercars, Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood’s incredible comeback at Bathurst in their Dunlop-shod Mustang made our Dunlop award feel even more special!!!

A fantastic few days celebrating with our industry and a weekend to remember for Tyretracks and Dunlop! 💛🖤
