DON'T BE FOOLED... 🛑Here’s an interesting phone call we had this morning:
Customer: "Can I please have a quote for tyre size 185/65R15?"
Us: "Of course, I can help you with that! We have Gepormax in that size for $119; our mid-range option Farroads at $135; and Hankooks at $155.
"Customer: "Whooa!! I've just been quoted more than $300 for one!"
Us: "That's a bit over the top... do you mind telling me where that was from?"
Customer: "Yeah, it was Tony’s Tyres. Then she said to me, 'we can do a deal with 2 tyres for about $500'.

Fuel Prices Hurting?

Here are a few helpful tips to minimise the pain!!
• Check your tyre pressures regularly and keep them well inflated – under-inflated tyres add significant drag, burning more fuel and accelerating tyre wear.
• Keep your Wheel Alignment up to date – for most vehicles, the recommendation is every 6 months or 10,000km’s. Keeping your Wheel Alignment up to date also extends the life of your tyres.
• Reduce load / Drag – remove unnecessary items that don’t need to be in / on the vehicle.
• Tyre selection – Did you know not all tyres are the same? Fuel efficient tyres may make a significant difference to how much fuel you use, and installing these vs a regular tyre can save you a fortune in the long term!!
