How do you eat an Elephant?

The same way you eat anything - one bite at a time.

This 1975 Ford Cortina has come in to begin his restoration journey. The owner is going to do it bit by bit, as he is able. We are starting with a bit of rust work.
This is actually a really good way to do it.

If you wait til you have enough time/money/motivation to tackle the whole project, youll often never get there.

Slow and steady often wins the race.

Just start.

SO CLOSE.... trays all finished.

We tried to get plastics for the ends of the front bumper (as the ones on there were irreparable). Alas, despite our best efforts to track some down, what we managed to find didn't fit. I think, as a 1980s plastic piece .... its going to be rare as rockinghorse ***.

Something the owners might spend forever hunting down...

Anyone got an old 80s vintage Toyota hilux sitting round we can raid ? Miricles happen...

Taking Hempy the Dodge Challenger for a walk down Ellis Street to Shifting Gears Automotive

Almost as easy as walking the dog. Especially since Hempy doesnt stop to p*e on every pole on the way down.
