The results? Let’s just say… it’s probably for the best none of us are making national decisions anytime soon 😅
We’re talking:

✨ And a few ideas that escalated… quickly

Safe to say, we’ll stick to our day jobs for now 😂

🥁 Drumroll, please…

Fresh off its debut at the Sydney Caravan & Camping Holiday Supershow, we’re proud to introduce the all‑new Winnebago Australia & New Zealand Odyssey 40I. 🙌🏽🎉

This brand new model is the result of months of considered design, engineering and hands‑on craftsmanship by the team at Action Manufacturing, designed and built right here in New Zealand.

It starts at the drawing board, working through how the Odyssey should come together, how it should feel on the road, and how people will genuinely live in it. Effort goes into refining the driving experience and creating a sense of calm, comfort and confidence behind the wheel. Inside, the focus shifts to spaciousness, finish and flow, spaces that feel considered, intuitive and undeniably premium, whether you’re parked up for the night or covering long distances.

That thinking shows up in features like Omni Panel construction, a solid composite build that improves structural strength, cuts down road noise and delivers a quieter, more refined ride. But it’s just as evident in the finer details: how the spaces transition, where everything is positioned for everyday use, and how it all comes together seamlessly once the vehicle is closed up and on the move.

Then it’s over to the build.
Panels fitted. Interiors carefully assembled. Systems installed and fine‑tuned. Every step completed by hand, by skilled people who know exactly what to look for, and understand that precision makes all the difference at this level.

By the time the Odyssey 40I leaves the factory, it’s not just finished, it’s been deliberately shaped, inside and out, to deliver a premium experience on the road.

Seeing it out in the world at the Supershow last week was a proud moment for the team. And it’s only the beginning. With nine new models already in the pipeline, this more thoughtful, elevated approach to design and build is setting the direction for what comes next.

A significant step forward, and one we’re proud to stand behind.

How awesome was Action Open Day?! ✨
We opened the doors to our extended Action whānau, giving our loved ones a behind‑the‑scenes look at the incredible mahi our team has been doing. From next‑level craftsmanship to some seriously awesome vehicles recently rolled out of the workshop, it was a day worth celebrating 🚗🔥

What makes it even more special is the Action community. The support, pride, and shared passion remind us that we’re more than just a workplace, we’re a team, a family, and a community building great things together.

The story behind the colours, the care, and the craftsmanship ✨🌈

Yesterday we shared the finished result, today we want to share the story from inside Action. When this paediatric transfer unit project landed with us, every team involved knew straight away: this one had to be something special.

🎨 Our sign shop team were genuinely buzzing when they received the brief. Printing and applying every one of those colourful, kid‑friendly decals wasn’t quick or easy, it took many hours of careful application, patience, teamwork, and absolute precision. But knowing those designs would help make a hospital transfer feel a little less scary for a child made every moment worth it.

✏️ Our design team were entrusted with the paediatric unit concept and understood the responsibility that came with it. This wasn’t just about compliance or layout, it was about creating a space where Kiwi kids could feel safe, supported, and cared for, while giving clinicians everything they need to do their jobs confidently. From the flow of the cabin to clear patient access and thoughtful staff positioning, this unit was designed with empathy at its core.

🔧 Our build team then brought it all to life, crafting a high‑acuity, single‑stretcher paediatric vehicle that prioritises clear access to the patient, flexible staff movement, and a clean, uncluttered clinical environment. Features like the central stretcher position, swivel and track‑mounted seating, smart storage zones, and child‑friendly lighting modes all came together because our team felt empowered to build something they were truly proud of.

Even in the most clinical environments, a little brightness can make a big difference.
This unit was designed, built, printed, and finished right here in Hamilton, by people who genuinely care about the impact of what they create.

A favourite of ours to roll out last month! 💛

Last night on 1News, St John shared an incredible story about their new paediatric transfer unit, and we’re so proud to say this unit was designed and built by our team right here at Action in Hamilton, New Zealand.

What makes this unit extra special is the inside. Those bright, playful, child‑friendly designs are there for one simple reason: to help make what can be a scary moment feel a little safer and a lot more comforting for young patients.

While we didn’t design the artwork itself, our print shop printed and applied every single decal, a process that took hours of careful, detailed work by our team, on top of designing and building the unit from the ground up.

Projects like this are why we do what we do. Knowing something built in‑house by our local team will help kids feel more at ease while being cared for by the incredible people at St John is something we’re immensely proud of.

Huge credit to St John for the lifesaving work they do every day, and massive kudos to our own crew for the care, skill, and heart that went into this build. 👏

The Hato Hone St John ambulance, based in Auckland, was designed to ensure a more safe and comfortable experience for children.

When design, craftsmanship, and purpose come together, this is the result. 🚛

This mammogram coast‑to‑coast unit has recently rolled out of the Action shed, and it’s one we’re incredibly proud of.

Purpose‑built as a fully professional mobile clinic, the unit features a mammogram machine, private changing room, welcoming reception area, generous cabinetry for storage, and a dedicated staff room with a kitchen. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a space that feels calm, professional, and reassuring, exactly what patients deserve.

The exterior makes just as much impact. This awesome graphic wrap was applied by Action’s very own sign shop, giving the unit a bold, standout presence wherever it travels.

Most importantly, this unit helps bring vital screening services to more people, more often. Earlier access means earlier detection, and that has the power to save lives. 💗

🌱 Another planting day at the Fairfield Project done and dusted! 🌱

At the end of March, our team hit the tools and put in the mahi at the Fairfield Project, making the most of a beautiful sunny day to get stuck in.

This incredible urban biodiversity and gully restoration project in the heart of Fairfield, Hamilton, is making a real difference for the local environment and community.

Our volunteers had a great time planting, weeding and staking new greenery, and were lucky enough to spot some of the biggest eels they’ve ever seen! 🐟☀️

Huge thanks to our amazing team for giving up their time, bringing the good vibes, and putting in some awesome work. Fantastic effort all round! 🙌
