This one is particularly exciting for us, as it's the first-ever Dreamhaven caravan to be handed over by ALM Group! It's not every day we get to celebrate a first, making this a memorable occasion for both our team and the happy new owners.

🚐 DAY 1 DONE & DUSTED! 🚐

A little bit of rain certainly didn’t stop the fun on Day 1 of the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show!

Despite the wet weather, it was a fantastic first day with plenty of people through the stand, lots of great conversations, and of course, some incredible motorhomes and caravans to explore. 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the rain and stopped by to say hello to the ALM team — it was great to see so many familiar faces and meet plenty of new ones too!

Fingers crossed for a little less rain tomorrow… but either way, we’ll be back and ready for Day 2!

✨ Meet Andrew & Fleur – The Owners of ALM Group! ✨

Next up in our introductions for the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show this weekend are two very familiar faces — Andrew & Fleur, the owners of ALM Group! 👋

Andrew & Fleur started the business over 30 years ago, and what began all those years back has grown into the ALM Group you know today. With decades of experience behind them, they’ve seen plenty of changes along the way, but their passion for the business, the industry and the people they meet remains at the heart of ALM.

You’ll find them both at the show this weekend, so make sure you stop by the ALM stand and say hello!

We thought we’d put the pair in the hot seat with a few questions…

⭐ What’s been the most rewarding part of running ALM for over 30 years?
- Creating memories for customers and watching the enjoyment they and their families have gained from our products and services over many years. Establishing a wonderful team that feels more like family than staff

🚐 What’s changed the most in the motorhome & caravan industry since you started?
- The development of the RV industry has radically changed from the alternative lifestyle perception to a very trendy and modern product

😂 Who is really the boss at ALM?
- In reality we all work for someone, ultimately someone needs to be responsible for making the decisions that drive the business forward. There is no 'I' in TEAM and we are united

🗺️ If you could jump in a motorhome tomorrow and head anywhere in NZ, where would you go?
- A road trip of both the South and South Island including Waiheke and Great Barrier

📸 What’s your favourite memories from the early days of ALM?
- Building a united team, Manufacturing one of the largest Launches to be built in the Waikato and establishing our own premises

✨ Meet Jayla – Our Customer Service Superstar! ✨

If you’re heading along to the NZMCA Motorhome, Caravan & Leisure Show this September, keep an eye out for Jayla on the ALM stand! 👋
Jayla is part of our Customer Service team and is one of the friendly faces who looks after you once you have your van. From taking service bookings and helping with spare parts, through to warranty and insurance, Jayla is there to help keep things running smoothly after you hit the road.
Friendly, helpful and just a little bit cheeky, Jayla brings plenty of personality to the team — so there’s never a dull moment when she’s around! 😄

- It would definitely have to be Sam

- It would have to be either the Abel Tasman down the South Island or Hahei in the Coromandel

🍫 What’s your must-have road trip snack?
- Either Pringles or fresh berries in the summer time!

🎵 What song is guaranteed to get you singing along?
- Wagon Wheel for sure!
