This stunning Ford 400-cubic-inch V8 is officially bolted down, plumbed up, and sitting proud back in its rightful home.

This 1979 Lincoln Continental originally rolled into Auto Super Shoppe Feilding for a simple, routine oil leak repair. But once we opened her up, we discovered the engine internals were in much worse condition than anyone originally thought.

Instead of just patching over the problem or leaving the owner with a ticking time bomb, our team stepped up to save this absolute legend. We worked closely with the customer to completely transform the job, saving them massive future headaches (and an extra trip to the workshop) by upgrading it to a complete, top-to-bottom performance rebuild.

We didn’t just fix the leak, we gave this 5.8-metre land yacht the ultimate longevity and power upgrade with:

🔹 A mild cam for that perfect vintage rumble
🔹 High-lift lifters to maximize the power band

🚗 WARNING LIGHT WEDNESDAY 🚗

Ever jumped in the car and felt like the steering was really heavy? This could be why! ⬇️

🔴 POWER STEERING WARNING LIGHT

This light means your power steering system isn't functioning properly. You CAN still steer your car — but it'll feel significantly heavier than normal, especially at low speeds or when parking.

Common causes:
🔹 Low power steering fluid
🔹 A fluid leak
🔹 Failing power steering pump
🔹 Electronic steering fault (common on newer vehicles)

Why it matters:
⚠️ Heavy or unresponsive steering affects your ability to react quickly — especially in an emergency situation. It's not just an inconvenience, it's a safety issue.
