This 2004 HSV Clubsport R8 is finished in stunning Impulse Blue and has travelled an exceptionally low 24,236km from new.

Powered by the mighty 6.0-litre LS2 V8 and matched to the highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission, this is already a seriously collectible Australian performance sedan – but the history attached to this particular car takes it to another level.

PETER BROCK CONNECTION

The car comes with a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Peter Brock Foundation, dated 15 December 2006, certifying that Holden Clubsport R8 CKR768 was the last Holden vehicle designed by Peter Brock.

The certificate states that the car was built to Peter Brock’s exacting standards and that he gave precise instructions covering the brakes, differential, gearbox, suspension, cold-air tune and energy polariser.

Adding further provenance, the car has also been driven by Peter Brock and comes with supporting memorabilia and documentation, including period newspaper material and a Peter Brock signed HSV owner’s wallet.

The condition reflects the incredibly low mileage. The Impulse Blue paintwork presents beautifully, the interior has clearly been exceptionally well cared for, and the engine bay remains remarkably clean and original.

Cars with genuine Peter Brock history are becoming increasingly important pieces of Australian motorsport and performance-car history. 1973 Mitsubishi GTO Galant 2000 GS – NZ New – 2.0L – 5 Speed Manual

A seriously rare piece of early Japanese motoring history — this 1973 Mitsubishi GTO Galant 2000 GS is New Zealand New and remains in wonderfully original condition.

This car has fantastic provenance. Its first owner purchased it new in 1973 and kept it right through until 1995, an incredible 22 years of ownership.

Powered by the 2.0-litre petrol engine and paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, this is a proper sporting Galant from an era when Japanese performance cars were only just beginning to establish the reputation they enjoy today.

The odometer is showing approximately 45,700 miles.

Finished in striking red with contrasting white side stripes, it retains all the classic 1970s details — fender-mounted mirrors, chrome bumpers, period wheels and that fantastic fastback coupe profile.

The interior is equally special and remarkably original, featuring black upholstery, woodgrain dash and centre console, factory instrumentation, analogue clock, original-style radio and the distinctive Galant script across the passenger side of the dashboard.
