Throwback Thursday. Here's the Kelford Cams H22A powered Honda Civic drag car back 2019 when it ran a 10.51 second ET down the quarter mile at Ruapuna.

The car has had more developments since then and it's almost ready for the dyno and some test passes.

Welcome back to the Kelford Cams workshop and Life of a Camshaft Part Six: Lobe Grindong.

Today, Richard and Sam will give you a behind the scenes view of a very important step of the camshaft manufacturing process. You will see how the Schaudt masterless CNC Cam Grinder roughs-out and finishes the lobe surfaces on a set of brand new high performance camshafts.

The boys also cover the capabilities of the Shaudt machine’s small grinding wheel, which means we can grind complex geometry for thing like direct injection (DI) fuel pump drive lobes.

There’s one more step in the process, then we’ll be ready to ship out your brand new cams!
