5 days of welding and fabrication, by necessity(no money to pay)to those professionals that do this on a daily basis you are truly talented.

This was my first attempt and I am truly stoked to finally have this all mocked up and fitting. All packaging problems solved and the end result.
A lot was learnt.

The down pipe the exhaust the turbo manifolds the external waste gate plumbing and the intercooler plumbing are all fabbed up .

There is hours of welding to do now

I took up a 6 week tig welding Course and had a go allthough the professionals make it look easy I guess practice makes perfect. I am a kiwi in the shed having a go just like you .

I am looking to buy a usable 1l mini crank it must have no scaring in the flywheel end cash waiting the closer to Christchurch the better

That's a weight off my mind the tatty front mount has been replaced with a brand new one thanks to the boys at fenix radiator. It now has an evo half radiator engine and gear box cooler .now the annoying part the 1000 dollars of samco boost hoses don't fit the new intercooler.

One the plus side I did get the new crank sensor fitted

I have dragged this car around with me for 7 years and has gently annoyed me to look at how untidy it was .considering it had no interior when it arrived and it was beat to hell its slowly becoming the car it deserves to be .

The blow up booth worked way better that my expectation so a big thank you

It has been a slow process but everything on the 323 gtr is slowly finding a permanent home .
Once everything is fabricated and fits to my liking I think the engine a gearbox is going to have to come out of the bay . 10 years of hanging around has taken its toll and its not as pretty as I would like .

A good clean and a tidy up is needed but some progress is being made .
The turbo is on and the air intake fits .
Exhaust and radiator plumbing to do as well as lines to the turbo
