Next up is 31E Stockcar driver, Connor Auty! 🏁💥

Connor debuted his Stockcar career at the start of last season in the 775E Stockcar, and what a season he had!

Another one of our travelling drivers making the trip between Blenheim and Nelson, Connor certainly put the miles in last season. He was also awarded the Stockcar Hard Luck Trophy at Prizegiving — a well-deserved recognition of a season that had its fair share of ups and downs!

Connor has set himself some big goals this season, joining the Eastern States Titans team. It’s going to be a huge learning curve and a fantastic opportunity for him to gain even more experience, develop his driving and test himself against some tough competition.

We’re looking forward to seeing what Connor can achieve this season and watching the 31E out on track! 🔥

Next up is 47E Stockcar driver, Dane Jones! 🏁💥

While no stranger to the speedway scene, Dane joined us last season in his 47E Stockcar. Outside of racing his stockcar, Dane is also busy helping out 46E Youth Ministock Manaia Jones.

Taking out the Stockcar Rookie of the Year at Prizegiving, Dane had a fantastic first season behind the wheel. With plenty of learning, racing, and experience under his belt, we’re looking forward to seeing him build on that success and continue to grow in his Stockcar this season.

There’s sure to be plenty more action, battles and exciting racing to come from the 47E, and we can’t wait to see what Dane can do this season! 🔥

Next up in our Youth Ministock lineup is 16E driver Ava Carpenter! 🔥🏁

Ava started her racing career back in 2025 and has already been successfully competing amongst some of the best.

It’s always a pleasure seeing Ava in the pits, doing what she loves surrounded by her family and friends. Her bright smile and politeness are an absolute pleasure — but once she enters the pit gate and hits the track, that all changes! Ava gives it her all, racing smart, fast and with plenty of determination. 🔥

Ava is also another travelling driver proudly representing Eastern States at tracks around the South Island, gaining valuable experience and taking on new challenges wherever she races. 🏁💨

Last season saw Ava take out the Youth Ministocks Season Points Championship after a closely contested battle for the trophy. 🏆

We’re looking forward to following Ava’s season and cheering her on every step of the way. Best of luck for the season ahead, Ava — let’s see what you’ve got! 🔥🏁

Next up is 921E Streetstock driver Daemyn Ireland! 🏎️💨

Part of the Metal Munching Racing Team, Daemyn began his racing career with Eastern States Speedway during the 2024/2025 season and has quickly become a familiar face around the track.

A regular traveller to both Nelson and Greymouth, Daemyn is always keen to hit the road and represent Eastern States Speedway wherever he goes. 🌏🏁

Last season was a big one for Daemyn, competing at both the NZ Streetstock Title in Nelson and the NZ Streetstock Title here in Blenheim — gaining valuable experience and putting the 921E amongst some of the best Streetstocks in the country. 🔥

But Daemyn’s proudest moment of the season came right here at home, taking out the ESS Season Points Championship! 🏆👏 A result he certainly wasn’t expecting, making the achievement all the more special.

With plenty of miles under his belt and another season of racing ahead, we’re excited to see what Daemyn and the 921E can bring to the track! 💪💥

Next up is 71E Production Driver Paul Adcock! 🏎️💨

No stranger to Renwick, Paul started his racing career back in 2022 and has continued to build momentum ever since. Last season saw Paul become a very competitive driver, putting together some impressive performances while always managing to keep a smile on his face. 😁

Paul is also someone who is always willing to give back to the track and the wider community. 🙌 You’ll often find the 71E parked up on the side of the road, helping advertise and promote each race meeting and doing his part to get more people through the gates. 📣🏁

Taking home the Entertainer of the Night award back in December was a fantastic achievement 🏆 and a fitting recognition of the personality Paul brings to the track.

We’re looking forward to seeing what Paul and the 71E can produce this season. 🔥 Keep an eye out for this one — there’s sure to be plenty of entertainment along the way!

Next up in our Saloon lineup is 57E driver Jeff Stanton! 🔥

Jeff is certainly no stranger to the track, with an incredible 30 years of racing experience under his belt! Last season was another standout year, with Jeff taking home both the Saloon Best Presented and Saloon Most Improved awards — a fantastic effort! 🏆👏

Jeff also proudly represented Eastern States Speedway alongside Daryl Martin in the Brian FM Saloon Series, hitting the road and travelling around the South Island to take on some of the best competition out there. It was awesome to see Jeff flying the Eastern States flag and doing the club proud! 💪🇳🇿

After 30 years behind the wheel, Jeff’s passion for racing is still going strong, and we’re excited to see what the 57E can bring this season! 🏁🔥

We’re looking forward to following Jeff’s season and cheering him on every step of the way.

Next up in our Youth Ministock lineup is 22E driver Keegan Smith!

Keegan kicked off his racing career last season, and what a way to start! 🔥 From the very beginning, Keegan showed plenty of determination and continued to improve as the season went on, ultimately finishing an impressive 3rd in the Youth Ministock Season Points!

To top it all off, Keegan took home the Youth Ministock Most Improved Driver award — a huge achievement in his first season behind the wheel! 🏆👏

With a season of experience under his belt, we’re excited to see what Keegan can bring to the track this season!

Be sure to cheer Keegan on throughout the season as he takes on another season of Youth Ministock Racing

🏁 WE’RE STILL LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS! 🏁

We need some awesome volunteers to help us keep our Kitchen & Bar running on race nights! 🍔🍻

We’re also looking for a Bar Manager to take charge of our bar team. 🙌

⏱️ Only around 3 hours per race night!

What’s involved?
🍔 Helping prepare food to be sold from the bar
🍟 Helping out in the kitchen
🍻 Serving in and running the bar
🤝 Being part of a great team and helping keep race nights running smoothly!

🏁 Next up is 42E Streetstock driver Lyndon Smith! 🏁

Lyndon made his start in the Streetstock class last season, getting plenty of valuable laps under his belt and gaining experience along the way.

A highlight of the season was Lyndon taking on the NZ Grand Prix in April — a fantastic achievement and another great opportunity to test himself against some of the best Streetstock drivers around. 🔥

With a season of experience now behind him, we’re excited to see what Lyndon can bring to the track this season and watch his confidence and skills continue to grow.

🏁 Next up is 14E Saloon driver Daryl Martin! 🏁

With an impressive 44 years of Speedway experience under his belt, there’s no slowing down Daryl Martin! A familiar face at the track, Daryl is always turning up, putting on a show and giving the crowd plenty to cheer about. 🔥

Last season saw Daryl proudly represent Eastern States Speedway in the Brian FM Saloon Series, travelling throughout the South Island and taking on some of the best competition along the way.

With plenty of experience, passion and determination, we can’t wait to see what another season brings for the 14E!
