🛡️ INSURANCE — SOMETHING WORTH ASKING ABOUT… 🛡️
We were recently asked a really good question by a client before booking in their vehicle:
“Do you have the appropriate insurance to work on my car?”
The answer here at Details is absolutely YES. ✅
And honestly, it’s a question we think more customers should be asking.
When you hand over your vehicle to someone for detailing, polishing, coating or any other form of cosmetic work, you're entrusting them with something that can be incredibly valuable — both financially and personally.
Sometimes, despite our best efforts and the utmost care, the unexpected can happen. Accidents happen, equipment can fail, or an already delicate surface can react in a way nobody anticipated.
And as automotive finishes and surfaces continue to evolve, we're seeing vehicles with increasingly delicate paints, trims, plastics, screens and interior materials. Then you have the other end of the spectrum — classic, vintage and extremely rare vehicles, where preserving the original finishes can be just as important, if not more so.
That's why having the correct insurance cover specifically for the work you're carrying out and the vehicles you're entrusted with is so important. 🛡️
