Watch Our Team Replace a VW Oil Filter.

A small part, but a very important job for your engine.

In this video, you'll see our team replace the oil filter on a Volkswagen and make sure everything is fitted correctly.

The oil filter works hard to remove dirt, metal particles and other contaminants from the engine oil.

Over time, the filter gets loaded up and needs to be replaced as part of regular servicing.

Did you know?? Your car has a filter for the air you breathe too! We all remember the engine air filter, but there’s another little filter hiding inside your car that deserves some attention. It’s your cabin filter, and it helps keep dust, pollen and debris out of the air inside your car. Over time, that filter can get pretty dirty.

And when it does, you might start noticing: - Weak A/C airflow - Strange or musty smells - Windows taking longer to demist - More dust and allergens inside the cabin

And if you’re sensitive to pollen or dust, a dirty filter can make the air inside your car even more irritating. So, when was the last time you checked yours? If your A/C airflow feels weak or your car has started smelling a little funky, pop in and see us.

No warm air? The heater wasn’t the real problem… This Peugeot 3008 came into our workshop with a simple complaint: “The heater isn’t working - it’s only blowing cold air.”

So our professional expertise started checking the cooling system to find out what was really going on. And what our team found were much bigger than a heater problem. The owner had previously used radiator stop-leak to try and fix a coolant leak. Unfortunately, the stop-leak had built up inside the cooling system and restricted the radiator, thermostat housing and several coolant lines. To make matters worse, the water pump had also been damaged, meaning the coolant wasn’t circulating properly through the engine.

We replaced the damaged water pump, thermostat housing, other affected components, thoroughly cleaned and flushed the entire cooling system, refilled bled checked and the system, checked coolant circulation and made sure everything was working properly.

And finally, the heater was back to doing what it should giving the cabin some proper warmth! This is why we always say: don’t just treat the symptom. Find the cause.A heater blowing cold air might seem like a small issue, but sometimes it can point to a much bigger cooling-system problem.
