Service, Repair and Vehicle Maintenance Danny has been in automotive since 1990. It's all Denise.

Tas Matiatos has been working in the automotive industry since 1995 which makes him relatively old, so to help him with his business is the team:

Danny and Denise are in the office they keep the wheels rolling. He is a fully qualified technician from the UK and has a vast number of years in major dealerships, some of which are Audi, BMW and Ferrari. He has won numerous awards, including Audi serv

ice manager and Audi Twin cup. Denise has been in automotive administration for over 15 years, ranging from accounts, payroll and service advisor. Without her, no one gets paid. In the workshop we have Adam, Billy and AJ. Adam has been with us from the start. He started his automotive apprenticeship in 2014 and now holds a National Certificate in Automotive Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Adam loves cars which he has developed with his family who are all petrol heads. Billy immigrated from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and has been in automotive since 2013. He holds a Diploma in Motorsport Technology, a bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering and is currently finishing his apprenticeship for a National Certificate in Automotive Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. AJ has been in automotive since 2011 and is a fully qualified automotive technician with National Certificate in Automotive Electrical and Mechanical Engineering level 4. AJ has a passion for cars and motorbikes, in particular off road motorbikes. Finally, we have Tas. He drinks coffee and talks a lot. He has National Certificate in Automotive Engineering and has owned 3 separate mechanical workshops since 1998. He has a passion for the automotive industry and enjoys the challenges of running an automotive business. All of the technicians attend ongoing training with AECS, which is the country's leading automotive training provider. Workshop 7 is a member of the Motor Trade Association (MTA) and the YES Association.

Deepest condolences to the Giltrap family & Giltrap Group to hear the passing of Sir Colin Giltrap. Our hearts are with you. The team, Workshop 7 Auto Services.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Giltrap Group's beloved founder, Sir Colin Giltrap.

He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family last night at the age of 84. Colin was a keen businessman, passionate about cars and building enduring relationships. But above all, his love of motorsport was legendary, and it helped many kiwi drivers become World Champions.

Sir Colin's legacy has touched countless lives and he will continue to inspire us. He will forever be our founder.

Our Story

A change of address helped us refocus and rebrand the workshop, so we decided to launch a Facebook competition and asked our customers the best name for our new business. We had over 70 entries, but the stand out name soon became apparent. It was at this time that we employed one of those creative types.

Our brief, we want our name to reflect what we do, where we are and the level of workmanship that is required in modern vehicles, all while keeping the area we have moved to in mind.

Workshop 7 was born. It's simple; an automotive mechanical repair workshop located at 7 Morningside Drive.

Our goal is to run an open and transparent mechanical repair business. We want you to think of us when you have a vehicle issue. It's 'Complete Auto Services'.
