So this is the Whittle Works building!
It’s been a pretty full on past 2 weeks, we’re moving into a newer and smaller building in Henderson which I’m very excited for! There is a lot to move in, set up and organize so I’ll hopefully be back up and running in a week or two!

Thank you to all of Strange Workshops previous customers for the past 13 years, we did some really amazing things over the years thanks to you, changing the name and moving had been the plan for some time.

As Whittle Works I hope that you all choose to come back once I am all set up in the new place, I will also hold an opening day at some point in the near future similar to cars and coffee like we did a few years back, something that I hope will become a regular thing.

Anyone that has placed online orders, please be patient, I will be sending things out as asap, I just haven’t had my computers running for over a week so I apologize that I am behind but they will be sent out!

Anyway, I am super excited for Whittle Works and I am really excited for this new space, it’s already looking so much better!

After 13 years it’s time to put the Strange Workshop name to rest…..

I have put everything into SW and it has been a massive journey full of accomplishments, magazine articles, car shows, new friends over yarns and s**t coffees, challenges and learning to name a few.

From Monday, I will rebrand from Strange Workshop to the new name Whittle Works as we start to move the business into a new premises in Henderson.

All remaining current orders will be sent out on Monday and any that we are still waiting on to receive from overseas or back order will be sent out in due course under Whittle Works. Please be patient with us during this time.

The name change also means we will be doing things a bit differently, there are some aspects that we will continue and others we won’t but ultimately it has to change so that’s why we are moving and rebranding.

Thank you to every single person over the years that has been a customer of Strange Workshop, to my friends and family, to new friends that have been formed over the addiction that is cars and to every person that’s has made all that’s been achieved possible.

Whittle Works is in memory of my grandfather (with the blessing from my mum) who was an entrepreneur, an inventor and an all round amazing human that I have always looked up to!
So with your help, come along on this next journey with us!
We will have an opening night or day once we have got things set up and organized, I can’t wait to see you there!

Today we show you the newly installed drive shaft hoop with tight, secure fitting and excellent clearance throughout the vehicle. We discuss how it accommodates the gear shifter’s movement while staying safely away from the exhaust system. We then take you topside to demonstrate the doubler plates we’ve fitted to reinforce the drive shaft hoops, including the removal of sound deadening for proper metal-to-metal contact and a seatbelt anchorage doubler plate that we’ll cover in detail in a future video.

Today we took delivery of the new Recaro SR-S seat!

What would you put these into??

This is the UT100 trim which comes in an array of different colour options as well as having heated seat pad as an option.
These seats are off to a lucky customer in Wellington where they will be installed into a VE commodore by one of our trusted partners down there.

Having seen these in person, they are an absolutely stunning looking seat!
