Hireace and Bargain Rentals is a reputable, New Zealand-owned business with 24 locations nationwide, stretching from Auckland to Queenstown. Hireace focuses on commercial vehicle and trailer hire, while Bargain Rentals specialises in car hire services.

We are looking to recruit for Customer Service & Vehicle Rental Grooming roles, based in Queenstown. In these exciting new roles, you will be part of a team that sets up a new branch with the business's support. Once up and running, you will be an integral part of the operation, either assisting customers with all their vehicle rental needs or keeping our vehicles clean and roadworthy.

1. Providing exceptional customer service to customers, both in-person and over the phone
2. Helping customers with vehicle rentals, including reservations, pickups and drop-offs
3. Ensuring all rental paperwork is completed accurately and on time
4. Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to best assist customers
5. Identifying and resolving any customer concerns or issues in a timely manner
6. Drive the shuttle bus to and from the airport to collect and drop off customers

1. Keep the fleet groomed in a timely manner and to high standards
2. Carry out the required vehicle paperwork to ensure compliance
3. Moving vehicles to and from external suppliers
4. Drive the shuttle bus to and from the airport to collect and drop off customers

1. Previous customer service or retail experience, ideally in the vehicle rental or automotive industry
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a warm and friendly manner
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
4. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
5. Familiarity with vehicle rental processes and procedures
6. A full NZ Driver's Licence is required with experience driving manual vehicles

- To cover a 7-day operation, you will be expected to work rostered hours, including one day of the weekend.
