Heading away this Labour Weekend? Check your tyres first! 🚗🛞**

Before you load up the car for the long weekend, take 5 minutes to check:

✅ **Pressure.** Check them cold, and don't forget the spare (if you have one 🧐). A fully loaded car with camping gear, bikes or the family needs the right pressure.
✅ **Tread.** Stick a 20c coin in the groove. If you can see the outer band of the coin, it's time to chat.
✅ **Sidewalls.** Look for cracks, bulges or cuts, especially if you're heading down gravel roads.

Central Otago's roads are beautiful but they're not forgiving on tired tyres. 🏔️

Spotted something dodgy? We come to you. Home, work or the driveway, no stress. Message us today and we'll get you sorted before the weekend.

Safe travels and enjoy the long weekend! 🌄

P.S. this photo was from when Barb’s Granny Aud turned 100 in March having a ride in a 100 year old car for a “fast lap” around Highlands 😍

🚐 Life lately… 😅

Is it just us, or is everyone flat out at the moment?!

One minute it’s freezing, the next it feels like spring has arrived… then it’s raining again. 🤦‍♀️ crazy weather!

Add in the ridiculous amount of sickness doing the rounds, work, kids, sport and everything else life throws at you… and honestly, we’re just keeping the wheels turning! 😂🛞

So if you’re feeling like you’re barely keeping up too — you’re definitely not alone! ❤️

Who else is hanging on until summer? 🙋‍♀️☀️ in saying that tho it was great to get family up to Cardrona yesterday for the first time 🏔️🏂

🌧️ Yesterday’s Office | Omakau 🚜

Not quite the sunny Central Otago office we usually brag about… 😅

A cold, wet day out in Omakau, getting two front tractor tyres replaced and another machine back in action. 🛞💪

The weather might not have been playing ball, but the job still needs doing!

Rain, hail or shine… we come to you. 🚐

🛞 Tyre Myth Tuesday

❌ MYTH: “She’ll be right… I’ll get another few months out of them.”

✅ FACT: Worn tyres mean less grip, especially on frosty or wet Central Otago roads.

If you’re not sure, it’s always better to check than guess.

Who’s guilty of saying “I’ll sort it next month”? 😂👇

☀️ Today’s Office | Springvale 🛞

You’d be hard pressed to find a better office than this! 😍

Blue skies, a stunning Central Otago winter’s day, the kids lending a hand, and another irrigation tyre back up and running. Teamwork makes the dream work! 💪

This is one of the things we love most about what we do—getting out to some pretty incredible places and helping keep our local farmers moving.

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday! ☀️

❄️ Tyre Tip Tuesday 🛞

Frosty mornings and wet roads mean your tyres are working even harder this time of year.

A quick tread check could make all the difference when it comes to stopping safely.

An easy way to check? Pop a 20c coin into your tyre tread. If you can clearly see the whole number 20, your tyres are getting low and it’s a good idea to have them checked. 👀

It only takes a minute… but it could help keep you and your family safer on the road.

Not sure if your tyres are roadworthy? We’re always happy to take a look and give you honest advice—no pressure, just peace of mind. 😊

Quick show of hands… 🙋 Have you checked your tyre tread this winter, or is today’s post your reminder? 😅👇

📍 We come to you, anywhere across Central Otago.

🏉 Friday’s office… just looked a little different! 😄

We swapped the tyre van for the sidelines and headed along to the Ranfurly Shield game.

Love seeing our Central Otago community getting behind local sport. 💙💛

Who else made it along? 👇

❄️ Tyre Tip Tuesday 🛞

Frosty mornings… frozen windscreens… and yep, even your tyres feel the cold! 🥶

Cold weather can lower your tyre pressure, so if it’s been a while, it’s worth giving them a quick check this week.

Not sure what pressure they should be? Have a look inside your driver’s door frame or in your vehicle’s owner’s manual—that’s where you’ll find the recommended tyre pressure for your vehicle. 👌

It only takes a couple of minutes and could save you money (and keep you safer on those icy Central Otago roads).

Quick show of hands… who’s adding ‘check tyre pressures’ to this week’s to-do list? 🙋🛞

📍 We come to you, right across Central Otago.

12/07/2026

Well… we may have been a little quiet on Facebook, but we’ve definitely been keeping busy! 😅🚐

Over the last couple of months we’ve been on the road right across Central Otago—helping locals with puncture repairs, fitting new tyres, wheel balancing and getting people back on the road without the hassle of sitting in a tyre shop.

Still not a lot of new photos for your enjoyment though… turns out we’re better at changing tyres than remembering to stop and take pictures! 📸😂

Whether you’re in Alexandra, Cromwell, Clyde, Roxburgh, Omakau, Poolburn or somewhere in between, we’ll come to you. That’s the whole point. 👌

A huge thank you to everyone who’s booked us, recommended us to friends and family, or shared our name around. Supporting local businesses like ours means the world. 💙

🚗 Need new tyres?
🛞 Got a slow leak or puncture?
🚜 Need tyres fitted at home, work or on the farm?

Send us a message—we’ll come to you.

Now we’re curious… 👀

School holidays… surviving or thriving? 😅 Be honest—we won’t judge! 👇
