The race is on....

On October 31st the Walter Hayes Trophy commences at Silverstone when the opening day of the competiton roars into action.

Race entries can be made via the official Silverstone website and the good news for racers is that the Early Bird price is here to stay for '26! The entry fee will have no price increase this year.

But - please don't leave placing your entry too late. This event does take some advanced planning!

PETER BARRABLE IS THE 2026 UK LEGENDS CARS MASTERS CHAMPION!

What a season. What a championship. What a result. 🔥

Peter Barrable has successfully defended his Legends Cars Masters crown, taking the 2026 title in his POBracing-prepared machine after one of the most competitive Masters Championships since the series began.

The battles have been relentless all season, with Peter going wheel-to-wheel with Andy Bird, Nick Price, John Mickel and Stephen Treherne — but consistency, pace and a winning POBracing package have once again delivered the goods.

And the numbers speak for themselves:

🏆 Elite Champion – 2025
🏆 Double Champion – 2025
🏆 Double Champion – 2026
🏆 5 Masters Championship titles with POBracing

Peter summed up the challenge perfectly:

“It’s been a great year, great battles with Andy Bird, Nick Price, John Mickel and Stephen Treherne. We kept it consistent... I’m delighted to get the second Masters title. You need to be finishing fourth, fifth or sixth in the overall championship to win the Masters, it ain’t easy!”

🏆 Three in a Row for Peter Barrable! 🏆

What a weekend at Snetterton Race Circuit!

After an incredible 18-race battle, the Elite Cup Masters Championship came down to the final race, with Peter Barrable and Andy Bird fighting it out for the title.

Driving the #88 POB Racing-prepared Legends Car, Peter held his nerve to secure the championship by just 15 points, making it three Elite Cup Masters Championship titles in a row! 🥇🥇🥇

With one championship now secured and a healthy points lead in the main UK Masters Championship, the focus now turns to maintaining that advantage and hopefully securing 1st place overall in the UK Masters standings.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the team throughout the season. On to the next round! 👏🏁
