Parts Advisor (Full Time)
VanParts.ie Midleton, Cork
The Role
We are looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, understands vehicle parts, and is confident on the phone. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where accuracy and communication matter.
You will be the first point of contact for customers and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support
>Answer phone calls
>Whats App messages, emails, and online enquiries
>Identify correct parts using reg/chassis numbers
>Provide pricing, availability, and product advice
>Assist with pre-sale and after-sale questions
Order Processing
>Process orders through our website system
>Create picking slips and update orders
>Track shipments and manage courier queries
>>Packing orders for shipping
>Handle returns in a clear and organised way
In-Person Counter Support
>Assist walk-in customers
>Take payments and look up parts
What We're Looking For
Essential
>Experience in motor factors, garage, parts supply, or similar
>Confidence in talking to customers
>Good computer skills
>Ability to multitask
>Strong attention to detail
>A positive, helpful attitude
Bonus (not required)
>Experience with EPCs or manufacturer parts catalogues
>Warehouse or stockroom experience
