This is a Fully Funded (FREE) Electric / Hybrid Vehicle Training course.

Certified by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) - Level 1 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Awareness

Half-day course for anyone who has or intends to use an electric/hybrid vehicle or sells, recovers or works around electric/hybrid vehicles.

📍 Location: Roscommon Town

Course Dates:
📅 Course 1: 27/10/2026 (Half-Day Course)
📅 Course 2: 29/10/2026 (Half-Day Course)
📅 Course 3: 23/11/2026 (Half-Day Course)
📅 Course 4: 08/12/2026 (Half-Day Course)

✅ What you will learn:
• Types of electric/hybrid vehicles available
• Hazards associated with motor vehicle high energy electrical system
• Work safely around electric/hybrid vehicles including charging

ℹ️ Note:
• Learners will develop core knowledge of working safely around, but not maintaining electric/hybrid vehicles.
• A good standard of English is required.

The IMI Level 1 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Awareness training course is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the EU Just Transition Fund Programme 2021-2027.

You can do it with the GRETB Fully Funded (FREE) Security Guarding & Door Security Course.

The 11 week online course starts on Monday 02/11/2026, with exams & practical training in person located in Galway.

Learners who successfully achieve the Security Guarding Skills (4N20604) and Door Security Skills (4N20611) awards may be assisted by GRETB to apply to the Private Security Authority (PSA) for a Private Security Authority (PSA) Combined Licence.
