where the Group provides a full range of products and services for both car and commercial vehicle customers in the Republic of Ireland. Johnson & Perrott Fleet is a member of Global Fleet Services, which is represented by ARI in Northern America, ALD in mainland Europe and the United Kingdom, Imperial Fleet Services in South Africa and ORIX in Asia. In May 2018, the Group purchased National Truck Rental, which hires out commercial vehicles to many of the Republic’s largest companies. National Truck Rental, which was founded in 1980, is a market leader in the provision of specialist commercial vehicles and is heavily invested in both long-term contract hire and short-term rental of commercials with an emphasis on vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. The business operates from a 16,500 sq. foot building on a 2.2-acre site at Stadium Business Park near Blanchardstown which was purpose built in 2003 and is designed to facilitate the largest of trucks to drive straight through the workshop. Johnson & Perrott Motor Group is owned by members of the Whitaker family, and its head office is located in Mahonpoint Retail Park, Mahon, Cork.
