2 weeks before japfest a question was asked and a seed was planted. This seed had to decide fairly quickly weather it was going to germinate or not as time was definately not on its side.....germinate....did it what.....
So the guys from Irish Drift Series asked if it was possible for us to design and manufacture a batch of trophies for round 1 of the Irish drift series which was ran at japfeat in Mondello Park. Such an amazing opportunity that we couldn't turn it down......the spindle had to start rotating instantly.
Firstly we got our texts designs and Mondello track design and placed them all together.....then drew a circle and moved the designs around . All of a sudden the image of the helmet came to light and our product came to life.
We machined the helmets and bases. Sent them for anodising. They landed back on Thursday, got engraved and assembled on Friday and sat on display in the early morning sunshine on Saturday ready to be presented to 12 contenders.
To sinead , thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to showcase our work. To the 12 guys who won one of our trophies we are super proud to have one of our creations in your trophy cabinets.....we hope you love it as much as we do.
