Want the economy to grow? Here’s how:
We all seem to put our expectations and the responsibility for the fate of the UK economy at the door of the UK Government.
It's a testimony to the agility, creativity and sheer hard work of UK businesses and all who work in them that the economy has kept going as well as it has despite all that has been thrown at it since 2020.
But there is something that we can all do, now, that will have more immediate results than the policies of our politicians or a dutiful stroll to the polling station, we can Buy British Made.
For every £1 spent on UK manufactured goods, an additional £1.80 supports the wider UK economy. For every job in manufacturing a further 1.8 are supported in other sectors of the UK economy. So, we can vote, hope, and wait. Or we can buy British Made and drive the change ourselves, now.
