REMINDER - OPEN DAY (08/08/2026) FOR POTENTIAL SEWING MACHINISTS!

Turtle Covers are aiming to recruit several experienced Sewing Machinists to help meet the demand for our UK made seat covers.

The successful candidates will be confident working with industrial lockstitch & overlocking machines and the stitching of technical fabrics and trim.

As one of our sewing machinists you will be responsible for the construction of the complete product to a standard that maintains our reputation for quality and durability.

These are full-time posts employed on a piece-work basis.
We are based at Units 7-8 Vauxhall Industrial Estate, Ruabon, Wrexham LL14 6HA.

We will be hosting an open day for potential candidates to visit us on a drop-in basis between 9am and 1pm on Saturday 8th August 2026.

You will have an opportunity to see more of what we do, what the work involves and to demonstrate your skills on our lockstitch and overlocking machines. It’s also a chance to meet some of our friendly team of machinists!

You do not have to let us know if you intend visiting us but it’s always helpful for us to know in advance.

My seat covers have been bugging me for a few months now... The Navara has to work as well as play: I'm always getting in covered in mud, soaking wet, etc, so waterproof seat covers are a must.
But the cheap set I bought elsewhere barely lasted 18 months!

However, our friends over at Turtle Covers have sorted us out with these really nice covers!
I don't think we've had universal covers fit so well before! They also do tailored fit covers for a lot of vehicles, so if your car, truck or van sees some proper action then go and have a look at their website!
