🌡️ Heater only working on speed 4? We've seen that before!

This Vauxhall Mokka came into the workshop with a heater blower that would only work on the highest setting.

🔧 Simon quickly diagnosed the issue and found two faults:
✅ Failed heater resistor
✅ Burnt-out wiring causing the problem

After fitting a new heater resistor and replacement wiring, the heating system was back to full working order. Another happy customer back on the road! 🚗💨

🔍 Another diagnostic challenge solved! 🚗

This Land Rover Discovery came into the workshop with a turbo boost leak that needed tracking down.

Our technician, Darren, spent the afternoon carrying out a series of diagnostic tests before using our smoke machine to pinpoint the fault. The culprit? Two tiny pinhole leaks in one of the boost pipes—small enough to be difficult to spot but enough to affect the vehicle's performance.

With a new pipe fitted, the issue was resolved, and the Discovery was back to running exactly as it should.

Part-Time Service Administrator & Estimator
📍 Wrexham Industrial Estate
⏰ 25 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 5 hours per day)

Are you organised, friendly and passionate about delivering excellent customer service? We're looking for a Service Administrator & Estimator to become a valued member of our growing team at Martin Motor Group.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in keeping our busy Bosch Car Service workshop running smoothly. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.

Your key responsibilities will include:
🔹 Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers
🔹 Welcoming customers to reception
🔹 Preparing and sending repair quotations
🔹 Booking vehicles into the workshop
🔹 Liaising with technicians to prepare accurate quotations
🔹 Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicles
🔹 Managing emails and general office administration
🔹 Raising invoices and completing customer paperwork
🔹 Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records using our garage management system
🔹 Supporting the Business Manager with the day-to-day running of the front office

What we're looking for:
✔ Excellent customer service and communication skills
✔ Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
✔ Confident using computers and Microsoft Office
✔ The ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment
✔ A positive, professional and reliable attitude
✔ Previous administration or customer service experience
Experience within the motor trade, service reception or preparing vehicle repair quotations would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
