🎉🚗 SHE DID IT! ELYSE HUNT HAS PASSED! 🚗🎉

What a day! 😂

After the wobbly leg, nerves, panic, running out of water and telling the examiner that you “don’t talk much” 🤦🏾‍♂️😂… somehow you pulled it all together!

At one point you were worried about which manoeuvre you’d get, ended up in the wrong lane and were convinced the test was going downhill.

Then the examiner asked you to pull over and said:

“You know what we need to do now?” 😳

I thought it was going to be an emergency stop…

“Have some water!” 💧😂

The smile on your face was priceless, and from that moment you completely relaxed and NAILED IT! 💪🏽

🏆 PASS! 🏆

Then came the tears, the tissues and plenty of pictures! ❤️

And on the way home…

“OMG, I don’t have my provisional!” 😂

Elyse… you gave it to the examiner! 🤦🏾‍♂️😂

It’s been an incredible journey, with plenty of laughs, banter, early starts and, of course, finding all the best places to eat! 😂🍔

I’m genuinely going to miss our lessons, but now the real learning begins…

🎉🚗 CONGRATULATIONS ELYSE! YOU DID IT! 🚗🎉

Congratulations to Elyse Hunt on finally passing your practical driving test today! 🥳👏

What a test it was! From the wobbly leg, running out of water, and telling the examiner that you “don’t talk a lot” 🤦🏾‍♂️😂 so apparently I wasn’t supposed to mind you being quiet! 😂

OMG… the nerves were kicking in! Your legs were shaking, you were panicking, worrying about which manoeuvre you might get, and at one point you found yourself in the wrong lane. But somehow, you kept it together and carried on.

Then came the moment you were asked to pull over on the left.

The examiner said:

“You know what we need to do now?”

I genuinely thought he was about to say:

“The emergency stop exercise!” 😳

But no…

“Have some water.” 😂💧

The look on your face was priceless! That massive smile appeared, and from that moment on, you seemed to completely relax. You got through the rest of your test and brought it home with a PASS! 🏆🎉

Then came the tears of joy… and yes, the tissues had to come out when the examiner handed you your pass certificate! ❤️

You were absolutely fantastic afterwards, taking loads of pictures and celebrating the moment.

And then, on the drive home:

“OMG… I don’t have my provisional licence!” 😂

Elyse… you gave it to the examiner to send away! 🤦🏾‍♂️😂

The excitement and overwhelming feeling of finally passing had completely wiped your memory of what had just happened!

It’s been an incredible journey with you. From getting you up early for lessons, dealing with the nerves, the panic, the laughs and plenty of banter along the way, you have always been polite and respectful which made coaching you an absolute pleasure.

And, of course, we’ve discovered plenty of places to eat along the way! 😂🍔🍟

I’m genuinely going to miss our lessons, but now comes the really important part…

🚗 Being a safe, responsible and confident new driver.

You’ve worked incredibly hard for this moment and today you achieved something you should be extremely proud of.

Let’s be honest, the anxiety was working overtime! 😂 There were moments leading up to today when we wondered if we’d overcome the challenge… but ROUND TWO — BOOM! 💥 YOU NAILED IT!

The look on your face when the examiner said “I am pleased to say you have passed” was absolutely priceless! 😂❤️

You’ve juggled school runs, college, childcare, lessons and everything else life throws at you — and you never gave up.

So now…

LITTLE MISS INDEPENDENT HAS ARRIVED! 👑🚗💨

From that very first lesson to PASSING YOUR PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST TODAY WITH JUST 3 DRIVER FAULTS! 👏🔥

Now, let’s be honest… the road to today’s test wasn’t exactly what you’d call “calm and relaxing.” 😂

The anxiety decided to turn up early, unpack its suitcase and basically move in! 🤦‍♂️😂

Leading up to the test, we had a few moments where I genuinely thought:

“Are we actually going to get through this?” 😳😂

But then came ROUND TWO! 🥊

And this time…

💥 BOOOOOOM! 💥

AYESHA SMASHED IT! 🎉🚗💨

And that moment when the examiner said those magical words:

“I am pleased to say you have passed your practical driving test.”

The look on your face was absolutely priceless! 😂❤️

I think you were somewhere between “Did he actually just say PASS?” and “QUICK, SOMEONE CHECK THAT HEARD RIGHT!” 🤣🤣

But seriously, what makes this pass even more special is everything you’ve had to juggle along the way.

School runs for the little ones ✅
College ✅
Childcare ✅
Lessons ✅
Life throwing its usual nonsense at you ✅
Anxiety trying its absolute hardest to sabotage the party ✅😂

And yet you kept turning up, kept working, kept improving and refused to let it stop you.

Today you proved that all the hard work was worth it. 👏

So Ayesha…

Welcome to the world of driving! 🚗💨

No more waiting for lifts.
No more relying on everyone else.
No more “Can you take me?” 😂

Because from today…
