What a complete pile of garbage!!

This is the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency trying to blame pupils and instructors for the enormous back log of test that they have created via their own complete ineptitude, and their CEO Loveday Ryder trying to deflect blame away from herself and her department for its total lack of ability to solve this problem.

The biggest factor in pass rate decreases is simply the idea that a poor pupil who fails can’t get another test for 6 months and this pressure is unbearable for many. The DVSA have created this problem for themselves.

The highest number of unsuccessful attempts made by a candidate before passing the theory test was 59

Can I use my phone to pay for something in a drive through or will I get prosecuted for using a phone while driving?

I get asked about phone use in the car by both pupils and experienced drivers….

What exactly is the law on using a phone while driving.

In short it’s not SAFE or legal, and the penalties are severe and getting more severe, so please don’t do it. And no, if you’re supervising a learner you definitely can’t use your phone.

BUT you can make a contactless payment in a drive through.

It’s illegal to hold a phone or a sat nav while driving - you'll get penalty points, a fine and can be banned from driving.
