SA MK2 ES**RT OWNERS I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

What colour temperature sensor are you running in your x/flow mk2 es**rt? So far I’ve tried numerous white, black, light pink, dark pink and the temperature gauge is running right at the top of the gauge. This particular mk2 es**rt is running a zetec but that shouldn’t affect the temperature gauge, I want to match the sensor to the gauge for an accurate reading, uk cars run a white temp sensor for a pinto or x/flow but I’m not sure on the SA cars
Any help appreciated

SIERRA R US SAVED THE DAY!!!

I rarely promote other businesses but when they provide such a good service then I feel it’s my duty!

So my customers YB powered MK2 Es**rt arrived this morning for a little bit of wiring as it was having trouble starting, with the wiring rectified we was still having hot start issues. Then it failed to crank at all, turns out the high torque starter bought less than 12 months ago had failed🤦🏼
Thankfully I knew the boys At sierras r us stocked new Powerlite starter motors.

Ste and Dale both worked their magic and within a few hours I had the starter motor at my workshop and fitted!

I can’t thank these guys enough!!

Mk2 RS2000 32/36 DGAV carb/inlet and k&n filter, removed from a running car last week £240

Mk2 RS2000 radiator,again removed for upgrade last week. Has been re-cored and had a repair to top tank recently £200

Capri/sierra pinto twin choke inlet manifold, comes with all water/servo fittings in good condition £60

Mk2 RS2000 ATE master cylinder, this has been overhauled recently with all new seals etc,impossible to find £250

Capri/cortina/mk1 rs2000 cast exhaust manifold, good condition with no cracks, sadly one heat shield bolt is snapped but I’m sure with some heat an patience this could be removed £60
