It would have been Yakushi this weekend but somethings are not meant to be.
My love for cars, car shows and the s**t that gets posted on social media is at the lowest it’s ever been.
When I started Yakushi after leaving JAE I didn’t really feel this pressure that I now feel under.
Don’t get me wrong there was a number of people that wanted to see me fail, even the lead up to our 1st event the things that got posted online was laughable when I look back.
I even had someone phone the local council on set up day voicing concerns about the event which resulted in the council speaking to the venue and then myself.
How bitter did that person feel by doing that not only to myself but you the clubs?
Since then the show has grown with 2025 being the biggest event we’ve hosted, but it saw me at my most stressed and ultimately I voiced how frustrated I was at those I love the most…dad. I couldn’t apologise enough during the event to him and others about the way I acted.
